It is not difficult to understand that the ceos and the cfos and all those who have made it their lives work to promote the fossil fuel industry as the fundamental component of the global energy equation - they will not let go of all they have built.
They will not. They will not relinquish their status or their position - much less the wealth that their position generates.
They will die first.
The very same thing may be said of all of those who have with tremendous patience hijacked our economy and subverted our political and our judicial systems of government. They will not let go of all they have worked so hard for so long with such patience to create. They will not.
They will die first.
This is a fact with which we must absolutely come to grips.
Those who have slaved for so long and so hard and sacrificed so much will not see all that they have built taken away. Not now. Not ever. Not for any reason.
They will die first.
We must come to understand this very simple and self evident fact.

If only - but they are the current deadly plague that is killing all life on the planet. Unfortunately it seems that there is no cure and while the plague carriers will eventually die - more just seem to keep popping up to take their place.

They are in the best position to make a speedy transition and continue with reaping their wealth ( the greedy bastards ) and yet they are fighting tooth and nail to use the very last drop of fossil fuel - and then what? - if they survive that suicidal stance/program - they will still need to transition anyway.

Careful careful ( note to self ) no doubt there are quite a few real believers living (?) in the Bible Belt. A good reply to a bald faced lie DKAt !!! You show more wisdom and intuition than GF and her enablers did sadly !! She tried to become a bit of a propagandist for Israel which is fine - but she could not handle it when her forum-posts and comments were either contested or ignored !
I did take her on, on her ''Mandela Legislator'' & ''Jerusalem's Missing Voters'' threads but look up at her forum-posts from that point to see what I'm saying here. She bullied and was ''100% aggressive'' to long established posters such as bw, elf, Middleaged, Renneye, Underdog amongst others on this and other matters and was not shy about swearing and bullying despite her own intelligence and wit.
Like a lot of bullies she didn't like anyone standing up to her. I'm sad she's gone for reasons of the agon if nothing else but she was NOT ''chased off'' (as you yourself intuit) and that lie can NOT be allowed to stand unchallenged here for The Standing Record and I hope that she comes back.

Right but ''fanatics'' are more often 'conservative' than not DKAt !!! So called 'moderates' subscribe to all sorts of extreme positions !! All is not as it seems and to resist and struggle for The 99% needs love, light, logic and some level of tenacity, perseverance and a degree of belligerence if need be !
