Admission: Free; reservations required at: www.occupyhandbook.eventbrite.com

Please join Occupy Handbook contributors Martin Wolf of the Financial Times and Nobel Laureate Peter Diamond of MIT on Wednesday, April 18, to discuss how the 99 percent can effect real change. In a bracing conversation followed by Q&A from the floor, Wolf and Diamond will be joined by the economist Daron Acemoglu (MIT), political scientist/economist James A. Robinson (Harvard), and Raghuram Rajan of the University of Chicago/Booth School of Business, former chief economist of the IMF, who in 2005 predicted the world economic collapse of 2007–8. Moderated by bestselling author John Cassidy of the New Yorker magazine. With David Scobey, executive dean of the New School for Public Engagement, and John Irons, managing director of the Rockefeller Foundation. Sponsored by The New School with the support of the Rockefeller Foundation. The event is free. Seating is strictly limited to 150. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The Occupy Handbook is published by Little, Brown (Apr. 2012). Visit the book’s Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/TheOccupyHandbook.
