Lastly, raise funds. more money is going to be needed if this is to be sustained into spring. That can't happen if the public loses interest in the cause and the checks stop coming in. There has got to be a way to ask for donations directly from the public on the street ala those Santas from the Salvation Army and doing it legally!! We've been lucky thus far with money, but taking that for granted is a foolish move. Perhaps hitting up Michael Moore isn't such a terrible idea after all: he has done a good job of going to bat for the movement on television and as a speaker at assemblies, plus he has been heckled for being a rich man who wants to help the 99%. His donating a chunk of change to the movement takes a little of the heat off his so-called hypocrisy, it promotes his book, and it gives him loads of publicity. I'd say contacting him and striking a deal is a fair trade.

I have never known the over rated Michael to put his money where is mouth is. In my opinion, he is one of the biggest hiprocrite-jokes going around today. I suggest you go for it - a little from the top 1% wouldn't hurt.

I think it would be wise to introduce this idea at the General Assembly. It is time to press him on the matter. It is a test of his actual commitment to the movement as well: if he balks, we know he is doing this for his own self interest.
