I've been keeping tabs on how the 99% Declaration is progressing, and things have been inching forward.

I'm not 100% on-board with this off-shoot of Occupy lately, mainly because of a lack of initiative on the delegates' parts. I love the idea behind the Declaration, but I'm just not seeing the follow-through that I want to see from this. For example, my delegate profile only has 50 or so views. The delegates' forum is also useless, filled with more general political topics than anything about getting this to work. I'm not seeing the support for this that I would like.

Right now every state has at least one Delegate Candidate except for Alaska. Guam, the Virgin Islands, the North Mariana Islands, and the American Samoa are also sans-Delegates. The online general election for delegates is on June 1st. There is still time to gain support, get people involved, etc. but I'm not sure if its going to happen.

The other delegates in my state have been uncommunicative, so I may have to send out some messages this week if I don't hear from them soon. I know what we need to get some more outreach going at least so that there is a good turnout for the delegate elections. Has anyone else been interested in doing this?
