edit: seriously though, if this link leads to something disturbing or graphic and I have my children around, well, I would appreciate a head's up on the nature of the video.

Are you a vegan? You are right about the cognitive dissonance. I am listening to the video and am too squeamish to watch. The mental pictures that the audio produces is enough to make me re think eating meat and drinking milk.

I've been a strict vegetarian for six years, on and off vegan.

And it was particularly difficult to watch, most other animal rights vids like that don't have nearly the same picture quality :/ I hope you'll consider consuming less animal products though, every little bit helps reduce harm :)

I don't know the subject of the video as an "App. unavailable for this player" flags up in my region but the recently joined poster's previous posts and personal moniker have be shown to be reactionary, provocative, 'occupy-oppositionist' & negative.

However, as a thought provoking and pertinent but humorous aside and as Max Keiser ( http://maxkeiser.com/ ) recently put it, using 'Meat Eating' as a metaphor for 'Capitalism' and "tainted, rancid, poisonous meat" as an analogue for 'high-finance, hoover-up kaputalism' : "I'm a meat eater but just because I don't want disgusting, rotten meat, it doesn't mean that I'm a Vegan !!"
