You know those guys breaking my windows? I called the police.

[-] 1 points by nobnot (529) from Kapaa, HI 11 years ago

If I call them will they beat you up?

[-] 1 points by human6 (88) 11 years ago

I'm not doing anything illegal right now

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

So? What does that to do with anything? OWS and Occupy and all of the movements against greed corruption and crime are only exercising their legal right to protest in peace. Does that cut them any slack with the powers that be?

[-] 1 points by human6 (88) 11 years ago

No, but all politics is deciding what group gets attacked by cops.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

That is one of the points. No group that is exercising their legal rights in a legal manner should be attacked by the police. That this happens just shows the power and extent of the corruption being protested.

Why should government decide who is illegal and who isn't

[-] 1 points by brightonsage (4494) 11 years ago

Better, not more or less, better. Don't tell me it can't exist. It can. It has. It will. The vacuum that exists when government leaves is ugly. Corruption is ugly, why make ugliness universal? No thanks.

Government creates chaos, look at poor areas, huge amounts of government, and what do you have, shootings, drug addiction, violence

look at food choice, would you really want the government to decide what food was right for you? no you'd soon be crying for your food anarchy back

You just keep whistling in that graveyard, Someone may come by pretty soon. Spend your time thinking up clever slogans like some Frenchman did.

Maybe yours won't suffer so much from mistranslation.

great argument, care to refute my points?

[-] 1 points by brightonsage (4494) 11 years ago

This is not a game you can win on points. Your concrete sneakers extending above your scalp combined with rising sea level will decide this one.

[-] 0 points by human6 (88) 11 years ago

what the fuck does that mean

[-] 2 points by brightonsage (4494) 11 years ago

There is a difference between trying to win arguments and solving problems. What are your motives?

[-] 1 points by human6 (88) 11 years ago

To convince you that government is violent institution.

The over-reaction, over-dressed, over the top brutality of the police responses to Occupy movements all over the country are perfect examples of what OUR collective negligence has allowed. When we turn our back on our government, the scoundrels and swindlers in the 1% exploit and turn our government against us, We the People, the 99%!!!

Get out the Vote!

Your solution always seems to be to vote and to vote for the candidates you prefer. You seem to be little more than a partisan parrot repeating the same phrases without any thoughts behind the words.

How can my meager espousals compare to your plethora of wise solutions? Like doing nothing and being against everything and your other great advice!

Democracy is not a spectator sport. You get what you don't Vote for! And if you don't Vote, You don't count!

Get out the Vote!! It's the essence of this experiment called "America."

[-] 1 points by TitusMoans (2451) from Boulder City, NV 11 years ago

I have no wise solutions, but I know a partisan when I read his or her posts constantly reiterating the same garbage. For whom do you believe we should vote? Don't tell me, let me guess: Mitt Romney.

[-] 0 points by JIFFYSQUID92 (-994) from Portland, OR 11 years ago

Yes, Republicons are all about getting out the Vote and promoting democracy! Are U really young or another prime example of W's "no child left behind" education policy?

It's incredible to hear you say you "have no wise solutions." Very surprising!

Unite and Win! Unite and Win! 2010 Never EVER Again!!

You are a partisan. Tell me has the current saviour-in-office delivered on the "change you can believe in?"

Obviously, your solution is to vote for the same people who have brought us to this point. Unite and Win! Unite and Win! 2004 Never Ever Again!! Unite and Win! Unite and Win! 2008 Never Ever Again!!

Are you paid by the DNC or do you practice this nonsense on your own?

That police brutality is innate in the state, if I don't pay my extortion (taxes) I'll get locked up, if I resist I'll get shot, if you support taxes have the balls to become a taxman and force people to pay.

[-] 0 points by JIFFYSQUID92 (-994) from Portland, OR 11 years ago

Yes, tell that to Mitt Romney, Grover Norquist and the 1% Kings of the Republicon Cult! For them tax crime pays big time!
