You represent far less than 1% of the population in reality but who really cares about facts? Not OWS apparently.
Most of us don't have cars or means of transportation to get there or the time to show the world we're engaged, but we stand in solidarity. I'm there with them. I appreciate every one of the people who can get out and be seen in this movement. In case you're stupid, to review, don't expect 99% of the literal population to suddenly appear on the street. We are the 99% who are unable, for a vast array of reasons to to meet the obstacles of daily life because of the nature of the game. We are working people, students, and perfectly capable productive citizens denied a chance to enter or rise in the economic disaster we call modern life because we are unwilling to exploit or step on our fellow humans to get ahead. There are just methods of gaining a living wage, but in this era they are few and far between because of the policies set up by the Capitalist cadre that's been in power since the 1950's. Ironically, you're probably not in the 1% even if you want to be, unless you are a billionaire with a fat rotting stash of cash that isn't doing anybody (the economy, the country, the working destitute) any good. You may be right though, that only about 1% of the 99% is out on the streets protesting.
