Forum Post: Yet another stunt pulled by the SOLD-OUT and CORRUPT operators of this site.

This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Now, they have removed my ability to mark any comment up or down. The poser posse or 'silent down voting stinkle team' as another user calls them are free to mark my comments and those of other legitimate users well into negative territory but I am unable to mark any comment whatsoever up or down. They simply do not take.

I've been typing the truth all along.

Flip's wife and her gang got you in their sites. Give up while you still can. Flip's wife can give you a cranial nerve implant that will make it all better. It really doesn't hurt.

Flip's wife sent me a big box of her own brand of Kool-Aid. It's called 'Kranial-Aid'! For the full effect, drink a big glass of Kranial-Aid! before bedtime (Important: always use fluoridated water). Sweet Dreams.

[-] 2 points by SerfingUSA (451) 9 years ago

You're right Harry, facts r fun when they can twist them to fit their false narrative.

The 1% don't have to worry about the facts. They own the news. They just make up the facts, and publish it as headline news.

[-] 2 points by johannus (386) from Newburgh, NY 9 years ago

Yes, I'm still here. When a person who has values far closer to Occupy's is severely ridiculed by another poster here who seems to promote more of the same bullshit... It turns people off. They wonder, 'What the hell is going on?' This is Occupy, right?

[-] 3 points by SerfingUSA (451) 9 years ago

I know exactly what you mean. These people that come here to promote "doing the same thing", I mean WTF???!!! Since the onset, Occupy has gone way, way, WAAAYYY out of their way, to make it crystal clear, that Occupy does NOT support establishment politics.

Why would political establishment, sycophant groupies, come here? Occupy should be the LAST place they come. I guess we all know the real reason they're here:$$$. I mean they are obviously not true occupiers.

[-] 2 points by johannus (386) from Newburgh, NY 9 years ago

Both Occupiers and those posters here that are trying to suck us into the duopoly never fully succeeded. Hence this site has never reached its full potential, thanks to the hacks on here, however the forum has not been coopted either, mostly due to the efforts of people who know, and agree with what Occupy is about.

In a lot of ways, by having this site being in disarray, compliments of the people here for deleterious reasons... has been one of the causes, the impetuses in... having accelerated the morphing of Occupy ....where now there are a plethora of altruistic groups working hard toward systemic change. The unintended consequence has been, 'It's now more unstoppable than ever!!' laughing.

Occupy is not just the forum, or people camping in the parks, it's everywhere now!!

[-] 2 points by beautifulworld (23767) 9 years ago

That's right.

Occupy is all over the world and the internet. It is far from gone, it's everywhere.

Have you been getting your PM notifiers? I sent you one, please check. :)

[-] 2 points by Shule (2638) 9 years ago

It obvious. There are ex-CIA hacks on this forum who were trained to by the School of Americas to subvert foreign elections who have now been hired by the Clinton campaign to subvert all serious politicing outside the Demcratic/Republican mainstream. What the hag won't do to get elected.

[-] 2 points by SerfingUSA (451) 9 years ago

Hillary obviously isn't sending her political hack 'A Team' here. Take SMC for example, he couldn't even make 2nd string waterboy for the 'C Team'.

Wrong again. You're confusing the unaffiliated position OWS was originally founded on with it's more recent sell-out and takeover by the conservative poser posse, the 'silent down voting stinkle team' HELL-BENT on discouraging liberal voters and preventing ANY Democrat from taking office. HELL-BENT against those of us who still believe in voting, in particular, those of us who see Democrats as the lesser evil when compared to Republicans. Our comments on the matter, or ANY matter in my case are marked down into negative territory.

Your position here is not simple unaffiliation. It's politically motivated psychological warfare. TOTAL INTOLERANCE.

Mark mark mark!

[-] 2 points by SerfingUSA (451) 9 years ago

SMC, why do you come here to make up lies about good, honest, caring Occupiers? You invent these ridiculous fantasies about "conservatives posing as disgruntled liberals". Where do you come off thinking it's OK to smear good people with your lies?

I could makeup outrageous lies about you without a shred of proof too. Here it goes: SMC is a Russian spy sent by Vladimir Putin to destroy American society. SMC is an islamist extremest hellbent on seeing a new caliphate rule the world. SMC is really an Ayn Rand fanatic. He was sent here by Republican Paul Ryan posing as a Democratic supporter, in an effort to make democrats look foolish.

I could go on all day making up lies to smear you. If I don't have proof, I won't makeup lies. I don't see ANYBODY here even remotely supporting the RepubliCONs. I don't see ANYBODY here confront you when you say the RepubliCONs are more evil.

Are there disgruntled liberals here? Yes. Are there any conservatives posing as disguntled liberals here in an effort to get republiCONs elected? I don't see any proof. If you have any REAL proof, let us ALL see it(I mean REAL proof, not this cockamamie nonsense YOU call proof)

[-] 2 points by SerfingUSA (451) 9 years ago

The die hard "real" occupiers that come to this site aren't wishy washy in their convictions. You're NOT going to get us to support your political establishments.

The DemoCRAPs and RepubliCONS are NOT good for the 99%. Why don't you promote a good cause? If you would campaign to get money out of politics, I think most, if not all of us would fully support that cause.

[-] 3 points by MattHolck0 (3867) 9 years ago

I move for election holidays

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

See if you can get behind something like: Rebuilding the USA's infrastructure.

I mean you have failed so far at supporting anything else. At least while here.

[-] 1 points by SerfingUSA (451) 9 years ago

DKA, can't you see it doesn't matter what you or I "get behind". You have NO power and i have NO power. Money TOTALLY controls our corrupt, paid-off politicians. You can write "Open Letters" till you're blue in the face. It means absolutely nothing. I think you are way too old and indoctrinated to realize there has been a huge paradigm shift in our politics. This is not 1965 anymore.

Money used to influence politics, now it totally controls it. The 99% means NOTHING to the establishment. That's why Occupy was started. That's why we are here! Why are you here?

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

DKA, can't you see it doesn't matter what you or I "get behind".

Then why don't you dig a hole in the ground lie down pull the dirt in on top of yourself and die?

You don't support Move to Amend or anything else that I can see.

SO.

JUST WHAT THE FUCK "ARE" YOU DOING?

[-] 2 points by SerfingUSA (451) 9 years ago

OK I do support move to ammend. I get emails from Josh Silver all the time. I even sent in a contribution.

The holy grail of the 99% is direct democracy. I want the 99% to have the biggest chair at the table when major issues are decided. We have the technology for it. If we can bank on line, we can vote on line. All this ridiculous good cop/bad cop duopoly crap is a giant con. I don't want any part of it.

[-] 1 points by StillModestCapitalist (343) 9 years ago

If you don't want any part of it then why do you keep typing about it?

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

Support Move To Amend and every like campaign. Couple that with voting out of office everyone who has not supported it or who has voted against it. FUCK the DUOPOLY get those who are standing up and shouting FUCK YOU out of office.

There are no other ways to make the change in government that "we" the public needs.

Identify and eliminate the FUCKING ROADBLOCKS.

[-] 1 points by SerfingUSA (451) 9 years ago

Another huge problem is gerrymandered districts. We have a congress with a 9% approval rating, and yet it's usually impossible to vote them out of office. They have the districts drawn so lopsided either D/R it minimizes the power of the voters.

I lived in a ridiculously lopsided republican district for years. My vote was futile trying to vote against the huge majority. Most voters also live in lopsided districts or states where their vote can be futile.

I'm just one fish in a big ocean. I try to spread the word. I talk to friends and strangers all the time about these things.

I am all for reconstituting a legitimate free press. No more of this MSM corporate propaganda jounalism. Voting is NOT powerful in itself. Only when voting is done by a well informed population is it powerful.

All we can do - is to keep reaching out - to friends and family and ask them to do the same - show them initiatives like Move To Amend.

Or advocate for the killing of the diseased elements of society and lead by example.

I prefer to do this revolution - legally - and as bloodlessly as possible.

The 99% want the Holy Grail. We want Direct Democracy for deciding big issues. The 99% want to be the CEO of America, no more just working in the mail room.

↥twinkle ↧stinkle permalink

So how do you figure that the 99% get to direct democracy - if not through developing it through such actions as Move To Amend?

Make Move To Amend Successful and do the same program approach to creating One Subject At A Time Legislation.

Do the same again for implementing direct public voting on issues.

Do the same again for implementing direct public vetoing of issues.

Do the same again for implementing direct public introduction of issues.

[-] 1 points by SerfingUSA (451) 9 years ago

Sounds good to me. I don't see how that won't sound good to 300 million other Americans.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

People must have something to rally around - just like Move To Amend - something that addresses the shortcomings of where we are now - something such as - Rebuilding the USA's infrastructure.

There is so much that is wrong with what passes for governance today. People need to be shown what could be and is not being done. This is also how one gets the public to awaken.

1st of all those other 300 million Americans need to be brought on board - they need an education of what "can be". And they are not gonna get the needed education out of Main Stream Media.

So they need you and I and everyone else who agrees to spread the word/education and get them involved.

"Despotism is a form of government in which a single entity rules with absolute power. That entity may be an individual, as in an autocracy, or it may be a group,[1]as in an oligarchy. The word despotism means to "rule in the fashion of a despot" and does not necessarily require a singular "despot", an individual."

Declaration of Independence except: " But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Tell me something I don't already know.

So if you can't see a way to do it within the structure that exists. To bring that structure under control of the population.

Ya better start talking about what will work outside of the structure that exists.

ONE INDIVIDUAL ONE VOTE.

We will never see a better system unless - if we in the 1st place remove money from government. And in the 2nd place keep pushing needed changes and remove from office those that stand in the way of the needed change.

So.

You have a choice.

Do it within the law.

OR

Go outside of the law and kill the opposition - yes - kill.

"Josh Silver [??] believes in voting." Is he a neocon who votes for a candidate in the duopoly.... too?

[-] -1 points by StillModestCapitalist (343) 9 years ago

Buley: Republicans represent corporations, not people

In a surprise to absolutely no one, Senate Republicans, on a strict party line vote, voted to kill a constitutional amendment to overturn the Citizen’s United decision of the U.S. Supreme Court. The Citizen’s United decision infamously held that corporations are people, money is speech, and therefore corporations can spend as much on elections as they want.

Of course, Citizen’s United is an extremely unpopular decision. Numerous polls show that up to 80% of Americans oppose the decision. That is a huge majority, it is almost impossible to get 80% of Americans to agree on anything. 75% of Montanans have already VOTED to overturn the decision! So, obviously, Republicans don’t represent people in the usual definition, they only represent corporate people. Why? Because that’s where the money is.

Both of Montana’s Democratic Senators voted for the Amendment and the 80%. However, one Senate seat is up for election this year. The Democratic candidate, Amanda Curtis is deeply opposed to Citizen’s United. The Republican candidate, Steve Daines loves him some Citizen’s United. Daines loves them so much, he’s actually accepted $10,000 from Citizen’s United itself this year.

Move to Amend - Official Site

"We, the People of the United States of America, reject the U.S. Supreme Court's Citizens United ruling and other related cases, and move to amend our Constitution to firmly establish that money is not speech, and that human beings, not corporations, are persons entitled to constitutional rights"

[-] 2 points by MattHolck0 (3867) 9 years ago

money is a lot more than speech

those that pass out the dollars determine what kind of jobs the people will have work in order the pay rent or loans for property.. Money determines what we do.

That is the point you posers ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to acknowledge.

I do amusingly notice that in your quest to bring Occupy into the duopoly, that you like to fancy yourself as a standard-bearer in our struggle. And anyone who has the gall to disagree with you is quickly labeled a "disgruntled liberal."

I really don't think that this tactic is working well for you... Do you?

A government can not claim to be democratic unless at least 50% of the the population is present to vote. This amount of voters is called a quorum,

Our current congress has no quorum.

Congress should act to increase election numbers
