Forum Post: Would a Romney Presidency be a plus for the Occupy Movement?

I don't want to see him anywhere near the White House because Romney is the living embodiment of what OWS stands against. Romney as President would just rush even more deregulation and tax cuts and those failed policies that got us into this mess will only push us further into the abyss, however if your cynical then perhaps things have to get worse in order of the myth of Reagan Voodoo Economics and the practice of Corporate Socialism to be destroyed and for the masses to demand a more equitable society. An Obama Second term might bring some incremental change( if Obama is serious about this more progressive tone of late) but it would more likely just be more of the same one step forward two steps back that we get from this administration on these vital issues.
