invented by Toyota "Management by Stress" is now used by American companies like UPS and Amazon to grind the working man and woman into half empty shells of healthy humans. The Japanese commit suicide in droves and American CEOs who make $$$14 million a year$$$ like UPS's CEO seem to think this is a great way to boost worker productivity here in our once hopeful thriving nation that used to be a beacon for all other countries because of our 'quality of life and standards of labor'.
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos Management by Stress technique is notorious for causing psychological breakdowns and health problems in workers. Todays CEO's choose to inflict harrassing and psychological mind games with our fellow Americans to "boost productivity" of the working people...the idea being to stress them so much their reaction to allieviate the fear and worry is to work harder and faster to make the abuse stop...they do but the abuse never stops ...the theory being to continue pushing their boundaries and window of tolerance to gain the highest peak of performance and keep upping the pressure and moving back the goalposts to make them work ever faster and harder...these are our people America. The time for our help and relief from worker abuse is now. Union labor is important to all labor but it is not enough these CEO's who embrace this lazy unimaginiative and innovatively dead and deadly way of leading need to go.
Without stopping this and setting standards for worker well being...companies will continue to hobble into the future on square wheels...and all labor will suffer and lose the beacon and innovation of union standards. Figuring out how to enrich workers alongside profits creates far more innovation. Companies that do are usually more successful with greater profits...Sears used this Stress Management model as well (i knkw since i experienced it)...where are they now? How much does a company make when their workers all become ill and disabled? How focused can they be on their jobs or customer service when they are too busy replaying mental mind games or being micromanaged and harrassed? Or spending all day worrying about their future and family who depends on them? What mistakes are they making as a result of not being able to focus that result in errors loss. What money is spent on psychologists and professional abusers rather than on real actual innovations that dont also have the hidden cost of health effects to workers and their families and spill out into society as a whole?... What is the overall effect of this on our society and population?....
This sets the model for all other greed driven CEO's...coming to your company soon...if it hasn't already. This is what happens when you work in the few remaining jobs that can't be outsourced. If they can't replace you with a robot...they enact Management by Stress...otherwise known as psychological abuse.
We must keep labor strong...we must Unionize or Co-op all chains and retail like Wal Mart. We must sue companies for knowingly and with this intent causing workers mental and physical stress...assaulting their health and happiness and the American standard and way of life as well as their families -who also feel the pains of financial fear from threats of firing every day for years from Management by Stress- even more so when that loved one becomes sick either physically or mentally it causes a chain reaction in that entire family perhaps affecting generations down the line.
Management by stress is immoral and should be illegal. We need to hold these Ceo's accountable with manslaughter charges or perhaps even premeditated murder charges ( since the plan is to cause as much stress as possible and we all know the deadly effects of stress on the human body) when workers become sick, anxiety ridden, and or die from the inflicted harm of 'Management by Stress'. Stress Kills. Any company practicing Management by Stress should face legal and monetary consequence. Here in America...we don't do 'death by labor. ' whatever nice term you want to label it...'Management by Stress...equals Death by Labor. '
This is profiting of the minds and backs of workers to an extreme degree. Bezos sits on his billions while his workers lives and health and psyches fall apart. Have American workers become as disposable tissue paper and boxes and the disposable wares being delivered? Instead of including workers in on the success they help create or imagining what happy and healthy workers can accomplish...this is all the dysfunctional desert brains of America's CEO's can come up with? Workers are destroyed and discarded (Which really represents these Narcissistic CEO's feel inside they can't envision the beauty humans are capable of ...sad). Shame on these Ceo's and shame on our politicians for enabling the abuse.
