''Blowback ? U.S. Trained ISIS At Secret Jordan Base'', by Aaron Klein :

''In fact, the truth about Iraq was widely available, but it was ignored. There were no WMD. Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. The war wasn't about liberating the Iraqi people. I said this in Congress in 2002. Millions of people who marched in America in protest of the war knew the truth, but were maligned by members of both parties for opposing the president in a time of war and even leveled with the spurious charge of "not supporting the troops."

''President Obama didn't start the Iraq War, but he has the opportunity now to tell the truth. That we were wrong to go in. That the cause of war was unjust. That more problems were created by military intervention than solved. That the present violence and chaos in Iraq derives from the decision which took America to war in 2003. More than a decade later, it should not take courage to point out the Iraq war was based on lies.'' Furthermore, fyi - I append and further recommend :

''Obama met with the top congressional leaders of both parties at the White House on Wednesday [18/6/14] and according to press reports --- none raised any constitutional objection to US military intervention in Iraq or the broader Middle East.

“We had a good discussion,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican, said, adding that Obama “indicated he didn’t feel he had any need for authority from us for steps that he might take.” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat, added that she did “not believe the president needs any further legislative authority to pursue the particular options for increased security assistance discussed today.”

''The vast majority of the American people oppose any reentry of US military forces into the cauldron of Iraq, let alone US intervention in Syria, but this intense antiwar feeling finds no expression within the US political establishment and its twin parties of imperialist war.''

Depleted Uranium is a deadly weapon of mass destruction that has also been banned by virtually every other nation on the planet. Its illegal use by the United States - breaks all existing international treaties, conventions, protocols and articles of war. It was first introduced into the US arsenal around 1983 under the 'leadership directives' of then President George H. W. Bush and used in the first Gulf War in Iraq to the tune of 350+ tons of exploded poison & probably has a big part to play in 'Gulf War Syndrome' imo.

The main difference between father Bush & his idiot son is that junior unleashed his radioactive arsenal mainly in Iraqi urban centres and civilian neighbourhoods, rather than in desert battlefields. Many untold thousands of Iraqi people, U.S. soldiers and coalition troops will pay the price for generations in chronic illness, widespread cancers, long-term disabilities and now all the already visible, genetic birth defects.

Although the USA may NOT be finished with dropping bombs on Iraq just yet ... ''but Iraqi bodies will be dealing with the consequences for generations to come in the form of birth defects, mysterious illnesses and skyrocketing cancer rates'' (from your link) - as will the war veterans on all sides.

When any DU munitions explode - they'll become an atomized dust devil that fills the air with a blanket of radioactive poison, which travels in the wind and is easily inhaled and ingested. It then enters the soil polluting ground water and infecting the food chain. Eventually, the uranium extends past its immediate epicentre and begins impacting the surrounding environment. This stuff is nothing to play with - but kids will do just that & thus permanently poisoning both themselves and their yet unborn future generations.

What is utterly astonishing is that most Americans have never heard of Depleted Uranium Munitions & very few fully understand what it is, where its being used and who is being targeted by its usage. DU is one of the Pentagon's best-kept evil secrets & is its most widely-used genocidal weapon for wiping out entire populations quietly and covertly.

Thanx with a heavy heart Nev1 for your very difficult link and post and for bringing this matter up and in compliment, I append the following :

Also Nev1, please note the addition of the final 3 links and paragraphs in my original comment above, on this important but disturbing forum-post and thread.

Trust the American Military Industrial Complex ( now with materials supplied by China - Lord - don'tcha just LOVE capitalism and the world wide market place ) to find a way to use Nuclear Weapons of mass destruction - having 1st been denied setting off more nuclear bombs - they just remove the explosion ( well kinda ) and walla - death disease mutations for centuries to come.

Huh - brilliant assholes have even included the rest of the world in the fun and excitement of nuclear fallout cancers mutations of the battlefield ( Killing Fields ) as it gets spread on the winds - though the exhilarating excitement of pulling the trigger and dodging the initiating munitions is an experience lacking for the worlds population at large. Just wonderful that the MIC can make places of the world uninhabitable for centuries while also sharing the never ending fun of the consequences world wide - at no additional cost - ummm that - as in - no additional expenditure on more arms and conflicts to set em off in to be able to share the death disease and mutations. Technology - HUH. We have come so very far from throwing rocks - Hey?

The Imperial War Machine really loves three things more than war itself and that is money, power and resources !!! Do we really think that the US would be in Iraq and the ME - if it were not for the massive hydrocarbon resources located there ?!! Very little is happening 'by accident' in the ME right now & the US is playing, paying, equipping and supplying BOTH sides - directly and via proxies, who themselves are closely allied to and armed by the US (KSA, Kuwait, Qatar etc) and War is in and of itself, both a showcase for War-Tech as well as a means to hegemonic ends !

According to the author Antonia Juhasz, “Prior to the first Gulf War in 1991 and even after eight years of war with Iran, Iraq was ranked 15 out of 130 countries on the 1990 United Nations Human Development Index. Before the first Bush invasion, Iraq had the highest percentage of college-educated citizens in the Middle East and above average overall literacy rates. According to the World Health Organization, prior to 1991 health care reached approximately 97 percent of the urban population and 78 percent of rural residents, while the infant mortality rate was well below average for developing countries.“

Constitutional government was established in Iraq in 1922. Prior to the 1991 U.S. invasion, Iraq was in essence a socialistic government, since most of its political and economic infrastructure, including its burgeoning oil industry was nationalized. Despite Saddam Hussein’s abuse of the constitution (the U.S. suffered similar abuses under The Bushes), the Iraqi people enjoyed a high standard of living and many freedoms. This allowed most Iraqis benefits such as socialized health care and access to free higher education that Americans have never known.

All of those freedoms and the high standard of living were demolished with the U.S. invasion and permanent occupation of Iraq and a huge corporate fire sale was under way.

Since the occupation began in 2003, the Iraqi people have been forced to exist under the conditions of extreme brutality and abject poverty. After the deliberate bombing of water sanitation facilities, hospitals and electric generating sites there have been outbreaks of previously under control diseases - such as tuberculosis and dysentery, causing suffering and death. There has been no peace and no security for the innocent victims of unbridled greed.

Now there is also the matter of depleted uranium munitions used by U.S. forces that litters the country in aerosolized form that is easily taken up by the wind & remains radioactive forever. Depleted Uranium is an indiscriminate killer whose effects linger for generations in the bodies of both the occupiers & the occupied. Remember ''Agent Orange'' ?! Further consider ...

The Good Earth will know no peace until enough of its citizens are sufficiently aroused to dismantle The Military Apparatus. Furthermore, we must recognize the link between Militarism, War & Capitalism and build a better system - a form of True Government that serves The 99% People rather than The Capital Controlling 0.01% - who will use their 1% lackeys to further their aims. Corporations, Government and Militarism comprise the unholy trinity of Crapitalism. Together they form a corporate welfare state that truly boggles the mind but nevertheless ... Resistance Is Fertile ~*~

  • “A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.” - Martin Luther King, Jr.

{ EDIT } People of the world - PEACE NOW.

Don't present an excuse for outside intervention or You may also learn up close and personal the joys of centuries of massive deadly exposure to DU radioactivity the contamination you won't see or smell ( but perhaps might make you sneeze ) upon it's delivery on the prevailing breeze and winds.

Lets ALL try to get along - as even if you figure that it is not your country or town that is radioactively intervened upon - think again - Does the Wind ever blow your way from those intervened areas?

EDIT -> Here take a moment and consider earths natural processes - then while doing so - consider how our ( humanities ) unnatural processes mix in.

NOVA | Earth From Space - PBS

I still find it hard to believe that Koch is a sponsor of NOVA.

Granted the major portion of the program was a feel good explanation of how the world operates. But at the very end ( the last ten minutes ? ) it finally touches on our ( humanities ) role as affecting how the world functions. Where the program ended - IS ( in my opinion ) - Where the program should have started and then expanded upon - OUR screwing-up of the operation of our environment/world.

The Earth's processes was stated as a complex set of interactions - stating that with an explanation of how the earth functions - and then following up with how our ( humanities/Industries ) pollution then feeds and distributes it's pollution/poison through this very same natural process - I feel would have been good in showing that no one is left out of the toxic effects - this also goes for it showing how the toxic/poisonous/pollution practices feed into global climate change as well. This I feel ( education of processes and interaction ) is where Koch might shoot himself in the foot with his support of NOVA - if people truly stop and think - then they will see the connection.

Huh - an interesting section on dust and dispersal - I wonder how they would liken it to the dumping fields of toxic coal dust and subsequent movement/distribution by the earths natural processes? OR Depleted Uranium Dust from necessary outside ( for peaceful purposes ? ) interventions!

NARRATOR: Plankton may be key to life, but they themselves don’t live long. MODIS shows how, in just 72 hours, a bloom can rapidly weaken and fade. All the plankton that have not been eaten die and sink into the abyss. They take their precious minerals with them all the way back to the ocean floor. Here they will remain for millennia, a thick carpeting of tiny carcasses half a mile deep. Some of the minerals may ultimately be recycled, some may emerge through hydrothermal vents again, millions of years from now, but some plankton, through yet another extraordinary chain of events, will deliver their precious cargo of nutrients, not just to life in the ocean, but also to life on land.

Half a world away from the coast of Peru, where plankton bloom, lies the Sahara Desert in North Africa. The Sahara is enormous. It makes up a tenth of the African continent. It’s one of the driest and dustiest places on Earth. Surprisingly, the remains of ancient plankton are here, hidden in this arid landscape.

It is May, the hottest month of all. Camel herders travel through one of the most exposed regions of the Sahara: the Bodele Depression. Six thousand years ago, this was covered by the world’s largest freshwater lake. The floor of the lake is covered with the ancient remains of plankton, called diatomite, laid down in a much earlier age, when an ocean covered the region.

With its eye on the earth, from 400 miles above, Landsat 7 is one of the latest generations of satellites studying the composition of rocks that make up our planet. It sweeps the Bodele, producing these high-resolution pictures in multiple wavelengths of visible light. The white expanse is the diatomite on the bed of the lake.

CHARLIE BRISTOW ( Birkbeck, University of London): The size of the lake is over a thousand kilometers long and 600 kilometers wide. But, with a satellite image, we can see the whole extent of the basin on a series of images and visualize that, on a computer, in a matter of minutes.

NARRATOR: The satellite image analysis shows over 24,000 square miles of sediment, all of it diatomite.

CHARLIE BRISTOW: We can map where the diatomite sediment is on the floor of the lake.

NARRATOR: The diatomite from the plankton is a rich source of phosphorous, an element needed by all living things to produce energy. But for this nutrient to re-enter the chain of life, it must first embark on a long journey that can be seen from space.

The journey begins here on the ancient lakebed in the Sahara. The wind sweeps up a few flakes of diatomite into the air; the flakes fracture into a fine powder and are carried off by the wind; a dust storm builds. Twenty-two thousand miles above, the European weather satellite METEOSAT 8 looks down from its geostationary orbit. It records a daily pulse of dust rising off the Bodele Depression. Here, it’s visible as a whitish dust cloud, lifting from the desert, with clockwork regularity, at noon, each day.

CHARLIE BRISTOW: Although the individual particles of dust are minute—they’re hundredths or thousandths of a millimeter in diameter—there are such vast clouds of this dust that you can see it on satellite images.

NARRATOR: The dust cloud is over a hundred stories high and 200 miles wide. From here it will head west on an epic journey.

Seen from space, the dust is blown across Africa. At the Atlantic coast it’s drawn up high into the sky. This simulation, based on satellite data, shows how prevailing winds carry the dust cloud west and south, 3,000 miles across the Atlantic. As much as 7,000 tons of dust are airborne at any one time.

The destination is set by the winds: South America and the Amazon.

CHARLIE BRISTOW: We’re taking literally thousands of tons of this dust, which is containing phosphate, and exporting that from the Bodele. The wind is carrying it out across the Atlantic to fertilize the Amazon.

white phosphorus??? OMG that is some nasty shit.

Hell I thought that was illegal to use as a weapon. Like chemical and biological weapons. Hell as a chemical weapon - not like one. Damn. The shit can not be extinguished - it burns and burns and burns until there is nothing left to burn - it has to be CUT off of a person to stop it's progress of burning into the body.

And there are people who would dispute war crimes having been committed by the USA ? Set aside that the use of drones has been quite extensively criminal - but then White Phosphorus? My God.

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 years ago

This is why - of course - that NSA and Military Whistle Blowers ( Snowden Manning to mention a couple ) are reviled by our government.

Because those in positions of power/authority in the government and military are exposed for the crimes they commit and authorize/order to be committed. So now their asses are swingin in the breeze waiting to be called to some sort of justice/retribution.

Besides it just really takes the fire out of our righteous propaganda that is piped out to the rest of the world.

Jackson Browne - Doctor My Eyes + lyrics

Doctor, my eyes have seen the years And the slow parade of fears without crying Now I want to understand I have done all that I could To see the evil and the good without hiding You must help me if you can?

Doctor, my eyes, tell me what is wrong Was I unwise to leave them open for so long

'Cause I have wandered through this world And as each moment has unfurled I've been waiting to awaken from these dreams People go just where they will I never noticed them until I got this feeling That it's later than it seems

Doctor, my eyes, tell me what you see I hear their cries, just say if it's too late for me

Doctor, my eyes, cannot see the sky Is this the price for having learned how not to cry

Hold It!

The US government said Saddam Hussein was involved in 9-11 terrorist attacks. Not true.

Critics of the Bush Administration have said Bush was intentionally building a case for war with Iraq without regard to factual evidence. On April 29, 2007, former Director of Central Intelligence George Tenet said on 60 Minutes, "We could never verify that there was any Iraqi authority, direction and control, complicity with al-Qaeda for 9/11 or any operational act against America, period."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saddam_Hussein_and_al-Qaeda_link_allegations

If Saddam Hussein had no connection with 9/11 terrorist attacks how can anyone be certain Osama bin Laden was involved? Calls for new 9/11 investigation are ignored.

Good comment. 9/11 was a false flag attack, an inside job, and an extreme act of murder and treason. Have made donations to 9/11 Truth, and will continue to do so. Hoping for the WTC 7 Initiative in NYC to pass. Please see my OP message.

The point is-----Bend Over people, and brace yourselves for another 9/11 style False Flag Attack.

There may very well be something along these lines.Let's see,um...Bay of Pigs-no independent investigation,Gary Powers-no independent investigation.Assassination of a sitting President-no independent investigation,Assassinations of RFK,MLK,X,numerous other people-no independent investigation.Attempted assassinations of sitting President Reagan and George Wallace-no independent investigations.Lockerbie Airliner crash-no independent investigation.Terror attack on the WTC with a truck bomb-no independent investigation.Terror attacks on WTC and the Pentagon-no independent investigation.Anthrax attacks on the Congress prior to passage of the Unpatriot Act-no independent investigation. So why should they stop doing these things when there is never any effective demand by Americans for independant investgation? I think it is probably not a good idea for me to start in about my opinions about all of these events.Instead,I would like to see an independent investigation of 911,and the many, many bizarre events that have taken place since, including crimes, murders and missing gold and money that are valued in the hundreds of billions or trillions.Conspiracies?Let's find out with independent investigations.I admit that we are burning daylight and we may experience another wild, wacky and extreme incident. The damage and trauma seems to get worse every time. What sort of incident could be worse than 9/11/01? I'm afraid it would have to be nuclear, but really-it hardly even bears thinking about.Godspeed to all of the citizen activists who are now monitoring The Drills.

We should never have invaded Iraq in the 1st place. We destabilized the area in the name of fighting terror. Those people had nothing to do with the attack on the world trade center. All that the military hawks of needed action accomplished was to kill thousands of innocent civilians and ruin their infrastructure - break-up their civil authority and open the borders to invaders. The USA brought terror - the USA did not fight Terror - IT BROUGHT TERROR. Now they have to fight for a new stability and they do not need the USA to get in the way of the very huge clean-up that they have to accomplish due to our original ILLEGAL invasion of their country. You want peace and prosperity? That is what you have to export! Clean technology for transportation and the generation distribution and storage of electricity - for use in powering a healthy infrastructure for ALL - including the ability to clean and transport water for agriculture. Do this and take the lesson to heart and do the same at home = in the USA. Stop sending out the military to wage peace - IT DOES NOT WORK - you only end up swelling the ranks of those who hate us and would do to us what we have done to them. Wage PEACE not War !!!

Everything that Operation Iraq Liberation-(OIL) did was warned against in a book called The Art of War.This book was written by an author called Sun Tsu,who worked and lived in China before 544 BC.Abuses of military force and their catastrophic nature are clearly described along with their consequences.

So instead of doing sane things they continue to do insane things.

Instead of doing everything possible to immediately transition off of fossil fuel and go clean energy and thereby becoming totally clean and totally energy independent.

They instead fight tooth and nail to continue toxic fossil fuel extraction and use. We just gotta use every last spec of it - even though it will kill us all.

Insanity IS as Insanity Does.

[ EDIT x 3 ] It's what they do.

The economics of smoke and mirrors = wall street. Count those chickens prior to ever thinking about waiting for an egg to get laid - and then use it as assets/collateral as concrete funds/money.

The economics of = bleeding the poor white ( unto death ) rather than installing caps on the wealthy and taxing them their proper share.

The economics of = kick the can down the road and let our descendents deal with one ( multiple ) monstrous mess ( s ) that has been allowed to grow for decades - HAS BEEN FED FOR DECADES !!!

The economics of = living a total fiction. While reality crumbles and Dies.

EDIT -> It's like you said = The economics of pouring an 85 billion dollar can of starter fluid down the carburetor of an engine ( the economy ) for month after month year after year and expecting the engine to take off and go on it's own while the Tank remains as empty as it was on the 1st day the 1st can of starter fluid was poured.

EDIT #2 -> The compounded ERROR - as - wall street - IS NOT the economy ( engine ). Wall street at best is a reflection.

EDIT #3 -> So reality - IS - That the 85 billion per month cans of starter fluid have been poured out onto the ground as it was never poured into the economy ( engine ) but was poured onto "a" reflection of the engine ( economy ) = wall street.

I can't understand it,either. They know every single market is rigged. They know about the lie-to-war thing. They must have figured out the rigged election things. For awhile I had a feeling that they had mostly figured that the jobs are never coming back.Maybe all of them are on Hillbilly Heroin. They apparently think they can ride out any and all disasters,or they don't care what happens as long as they can watch Game of Thrones.

Hhmmmm - could it be as simple as = Hey just let me live the good life and I will support anything you want me to ( I mean - I figure that I should die of natural causes before things get really really really really toxic-ally bad for absolutely everyone - Right ? - and Hell my kids don't love me...... ). [-] 3 points by trashyharry (3084) from Waterville, NY 9 years ago

Hey,Wick! You maybe don't believe me,but I live not only way out in the country, but well out of the way of vehicular traffic.3 cars going by is a traffic jam here. There is a local person here who owns a large group of non-contiguous parcels amounting to some 950 acres which he has not allowed to be developed at all which is why we are closed in by thick forest on 3 sides. The locals are afraid of this guy and nobody ever approaches him or dares set foot on his land.Supposedly he is a fundamentalist Christian preacher who has become a hostile recluse.A mystery in our history.

[-] 2 points by wickerman (62) 9 years ago

I get $2.00 a dozen for farm fresh, cage free. Arkansas law allows us to sell to the public in cartons marked farm eggs-ungraded, and refrigerated. I sell out in a few minutes at farmers market. $1.50 is a good price. Trashyharry, for a long time before they started to require us to refrigerate them we sold on an honor system, cooler full of eggs at the drive way with a drop box. Only lost 2 dozen eggs, and that was a neighbors dog.

[-] 1 points by trashyharry (3084) from Waterville, NY 9 years ago

That is a good price. My animals produce top quality eggs at a rate of 1 dz per day.I don't have a way to sell them so we give them away.I would make sure you got your share,if I could.I'm fond of you.

It is pitiful - and yes - many people have no clue as how to survive outside of their credit cards influence. And it will come to time ( if things are allowed to continue as they are now ) when the bottom will absolutely fall out and there will be NO economy - because it was all shipped out of the country to sweat shops and offshore tax havens. The time when there is not a free penny floating loose in the population at large.

Ramadan is a month of fasting mandated by the Koran. Muslims all over the world abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs during the daylight hours.

Secularists and Atheists have difficulty understanding how ISIS could ruthlessly slaughter Shia and other minorities, including Christians and Alawites, the offshoot to which Syria’s president, Bashar Assad, belongs. It sacks churches and Shia shrines, dispatching suicide-bombers to market-places before the month of Ramadan – June 29 to July 28.

Hey - maybe it's being looked at all wrong ( huh what are the chances of that - Hey? ) and this new insurgency is not a bad thing but the solidification of authority that has been lacking ( I know I know = Dreaming ) and the society is coming to a new stability. Well one could hope and stop a minute and think - if these guys were so bad ass that a much better armed military is just throwing down their arms and running away - well? - does that make any sense at all? Throw away their arms and run - it might be more believable if they had kept their arms and ran away - that way they would still have weapons to defend themselves with when they ran out of places to run to. I'm thinking that maybe the military does not want to confront these guys - just because they feel no need to confront these guys.

I just got done reading this:http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article38877.htm They're saying its not ISIS that is taking over Iraq, but rather a broad coalition of local Iraq freedom fighters under the umbrella of a "General Military Council of the Iraqi Revolutionaries."

I'm not sure what to make of it all, but this would explain events a lot better. It could well possiblly be that although ISIS may exist, its being overblown by our own fabulous propaganda (i.e. quano de toro) belching government here in the U.S.A. That there are no Iraqis running from a crazed military terror group, That there is no crazed military terror group. Most likely is that patriotic Iraqis are finally out taking their own country back.
