Mittens-EtchAsketch-Romulan flip flops so hard that he said today as reported on PBS that the Massachusetts plan was a penalty.

Funny to watch the asshole continue to self destruct.

Does it really matter if he says it is a tax or mandate? The approach is wrong whether Mitt, Obama or Hillary proposed it.

"approach is wrong"
In stead of lashing out, be a mench! Read it and tell me what part you don't like and why

and - yes - I prefer Medicare for all

But congress will never pass that unless we vote in people who work for the people in stead of the people who pay them

The mandate is nothing more than a subsidy to one of the most corrupt industries in the U.S. Insurance companies make their money by denying as many claims as possible. Whether it is through claiming a premium was not paid, "experimental procedures" or a long list of other variations, it is in their best interest to NOT pay for claims.

My opinion is that the new healthcare law should be funded by a tax. Preferably a sales tax. Why? Then all who are in this country and benefit from health services would pay a share. Drug dealers, illegal immigrants, tax evaders, you name it. That is what I mean by the wrong approach. The mandate/tax penalty is targeted, yet misses many who should pay a share.
