Apple, a billion dollar company with work houses in China not in the USA. Where are the jobs here? Making money on highly expensive, highly regarded products. A product a company that epitomizes a higher social class, and segregation. Why not occupy Apple at its grand opening at grand central station? Just a thought.

Apple is also holding some $80-billion off shore to evade paying taxes. Money that, if invested in America, would grow their consumer base by growing their employee base.

When buying a new computer last summer I decided to stop buying Apple for the first time since the 1980's specifically because of their predatory anti-American manufacturing and tax evasion practices.

"Apple is also holding some $80-billion off shore to evade paying taxes. Money that, if invested in America, would grow their consumer base by growing their employee base."

Why would Apple not want to grow its user base. This makes no sense. And how does growing your employee base necessarily translates to growing your user base? Do you have proof to support your claims?

Sorry to hear you won't be using an Apple computer. I can't imagine working on Windows or Linux. Good luck.

What a ridiculous idea. Apple is not the problem. It's the least of your concerns. They pay and treat their employees really well. They have all kinds of jobs in America. Go after the real problems in America. Money in politics, etc... If you're going to waste your time going off target, then at least go after Microsoft. Windows is crap.

"Since formation of the Apple Computer Company in 1977, it (as Apple Computer, Inc.) has employed over 75,000 people worldwide."

"The majority of Apple's employees have been located in the United States but Apple has substantial manufacturing, sales, marketing, and support organizations worldwide, and some engineering operations in Paris and Tokyo."
