OWS is evolving as it goes along! Some of the younger folk know something is wrong, but still don't know exactly what, like us awakened people do. What I don't understand is, why are none of the names of the criminal elites on all the signs that the protesters are carrying? The thing that the elite cabal fear MORE THAN ANYTHING, is the knowledge that we know who they are personally...and total exposure is the only thing that will stop them! "End the Fed" is a great start, but it is still too benevolent. We should be carrying signs that show loudly and clearly that we know exactly who they are! That way they can't hide behind the faceless blanket term "GLOBALISTS", 'BANKERS', "ELITE", "FEDERAL RESERVE", "1%" or "NWO".
Most people think the Federal Reserve is a government entity. It is not. It is privately owned by the world's wealthiest families and royal families who have violently protected their identiites from being connected to the federal reserve. They are responsible for a countless loss of life to try to keep this secret for many, many, many generations. The internet has been their worst enemy and hopefully will release their strangle hold on us.
The signs should read things like "ROTHSCHILDS END YOUR RULE", "ROTHSCHILDS SHOULD BE IN JAIL", "ROCKEFELLERS ARE GENOCIDAL WAR CRIMINALS", "KISSINGER WANTS 90% DEPOPULATION", "QUEEN ELIZABETH & PRINCE CHARLES ARE DEPOPULATIONISTS", "KRUPPS ARE KILLERS", "ASTORS ARE BANKER THEIVES", "BUSH FAMILY ARE GENOCIDE PLOTTERS", "BUFFET ENGINEERED ECONOMIC CRASH", "GREENSPAN ENGINEERED ECONOMIC MELTDOWN", "GLOBALISTS DEPOPULATE YOURSELVES - END YOUR RULE", "MEROVINGIANS ARE THEIVES", "WALDORFS ARE KILLERS", "FREEMANS ARE CRIMINALS", "CARNEGIES ARE CRIMINALS", "SCHIFFS ARE BANKER CRIMINALS", "MONARCH FINANCIAL RULE ENDS NOW", etc.
Unless we expose the ROOT CAUSE, the invisible ruling elite will still be there to do these things to us again another day. The important but lesser problems will get fixed properly once the ruling elite are gone and honest people are elected. Always aim to take down the very top peak of the pyramid....or nothing will ever change. EXPOSE THEM!! If the whole world knows who they are, they can't hide. Each country that is protesting, needs to look up their countries ruling elite names, illuminati names, NWO names and get them on as many signs as possible and show the whole world who they are! If we focus on this one idea, they won't be in power for much longer. Spread the word!! Don't do this by yourself! This has to be done en masse....if only a few do this, they'll be escorted away. But if tens of thousands do it at the same time, what are they going to do? They can't get all of us. Strength in numbers!

If the whole world knew the names of the Ruling Elite who have destroyed our lives, who would do their bidding? I think OWS should steer clear of singling out individual perpetrators for the time being. First step is to address the structural and institutional problems, shift the paradigm, and then go after individual transgressors.
Besides the fact it's really hard to do before you shift the paradigm, there's a more pragmatic reason I say this. If you look around you'll see all sorts of people trying to co-opt the movement and bend it as a tool against their rivals, because the elites do have factions and rivalries. So you see people trying to direct it against their electoral opponents and whatnot. There's even some guy on here who's trying to bend OWS against Toshiba, who no doubt works for Sony or LG or something.
I disagree. We need to go after the individuals now. We need something similar to a Truth and Reconciliation like Mandella had in South Africa. The small fish that stole less than, say, $1 million can be excused, as long as they are able to tell the 99% about the real criminals, and exactly what they did. We want the people who swindled pensioners and homeowners for billions, and paid themselves big fat bonuses running into 100s of millions for each corrupt executive. In case you don't know what an executive is, they will have the name of president, chief, director or executive in their title. Usually managers, including senior managers, area managers, general managers etc. are not executives. We are after big fish like assistant vice presidents, associate directors and the like, not small fish like team leaders, analysts or even national managers.
Like I say, it won't fly before the paradigm is shifted. I'd love to get Bush up on war crimes or any number of other things too, lots of people would, but it just isn't going to happen without a paradigm shift. So I think we need to make sure we've got the cart and horse in the right order.
Without the paradigm shift, you'll just be distracted fighting specific little battles, and you won't win any of them. Then you'll be dismissed, and fade into obscurity. This sort of thing has been tried many, many times before and the results are always the same under the present conditions. So those conditions need to be changed, first.

Local government's no good. It doesn't write criminal law or hold Grand Juries or anything like that. It's great to have their support if you want to stage a rally, open a community garden, stuff like that, but not much use for jailing bankers. It's great you've achieved paradigm shift locally, and this is probably the model for doing it: like dominoes, city by city. But jailing the bankers is going to have to wait til many of those dominoes have fallen.

They are going to be little battles, because you'll have to fight each one individually. I don't mean to say they'll be little in the sense of just a skirmish - they'll be little in the sense that there will be many of them. Each one of them will in fact be a big deal, like Conrad Black or the few others that have actually gone down. So we're talking about hundreds of big deals to fight, and you probably won't be able to maintain focus on more than 2-3 at a time, and each one could take a few years to resolve.
I think we are actually agreeing pretty much. We need to tackle this at all sorts of levels. The Local Government one helps also. Imagine if New York City was on the side of OWS. Then the NYPD would be also.
I think to tackle the legal system of a country, you need specialists, and that just makes it too hard to the ordinary guy. We also suspect the motives of legal specialists at the moment. We think some of them are in this Wall Street conspiracy also. I do know that good people are helping us with this (paradigm shift you called it).
As far as targeting individuals, you have to remember that there are many many protestors for each individual criminal, plus all the people these guys have hurt. We will make this personal. We will say, for example, this crook was the one who destroyed your pension fund, repossessed your house, or caused your husband to commit suicide. Each individual shyster must have affected (destroyed) the lives of thousands of people.
It is a matter of determination, never giving up. We should use the example of Simon Wiesenthal and the Jewish Documentation Center. Keep dossiers on these monsters. Track them down. There is an Occupy in every city, not just in Vienna as was the case with Wiesenthal. He got them all with limited resourses and a wonderful determination. We have many more dedicated and commited men and women.
