Forum Post: Why are all the photographs here missing EXIF data?

I wanted to get an accurate snapshot of how large the movement is at the moment, so I decided to dig into the photos. To my surprise, all the time information and everything else is missing.

I thought it was maybe because of being put through an editor for resizing, but I checked out some of my own images and found that the EXIF data withstood that. At least 3 of my image editing software put some form of data in the images I save regardless of intent.

What does this mean? The images I have seen on this website are innocent enough. Why rip all of the EXIF data out?

To clarify, the reason I sought EXIF data was to ensure that photographic representations are coming from actual current events. (I was looking for time stamps.)

I'm currently banned from three OWS websites if that tells you the kind of organization they are. They say they welcome dissenting opinions and they fight against oppression in public but censor people's voices behind closed doors.

It means the forum's software doesn't support EXIF.

This ain't deviant art.

to make you feel paranoid. images are accurate. sometimes images looks violent or unrealistc, - but the history puts everything on its place

That was unproductive.

The question remains open.
