Wwe just want to end corporate control of our political system - and dismantle the Corporate Neo-Feudalist State being run out of Wall Street.

It's the large investment banks running the economy not productive corporations and companies that actually produce stuff -- that is a PROBLEM!!!

And We The People should have the final say in Politics not $$$ - that is a PROBLEM!!!

And rich CEOs should not be protected by government regulators when they break the law and ruin the economy in the process - that is a PROBLEM!!!

I am not a communist. I just want to stop corporate welfare. The socialism for the 1 % has to end. Just like you and I face free market conditions in the real world, so to must these too big to fail corporations.....This problem in this country is that we have capitalism for average people and we have communism for the big companies. This shit is not fair. How is a small business supposed to compete with a giant company that gets billions of subsidies from the government.

I AM anticapitalist. I know y'all can't admit that you are (if you have any sense, anyway, you are), but this pandering to capitalism stuff is gross. You got this system as a direct result of capitalism. I'm not sure how you think you can have social stratification that will work out for most of society. Why would the elite of any system of social stratification give a shit about the poor? They wouldn't. You only have a decent society when capitalism takes a back set to socialism - as in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, etc. But we can't even get health care here, so don't hold your breath.

I agree we need a socialist leaning governemnt but a capitalist economic system were hard work and good ideas are rewarded.

I mostly agree. I would go further and say corporations should not be running the economy either. The economy is part of society. It should be seen as part of the commons, and the congress has to start taking responsibility for the laws they pass that affect our economy. If 45 million Americans are on food-stamps that's a good sign that our government is not doing its job.

That anti-capitalist talk is bullshit propaganda from the Republican talking-point planners at FOX and CNBC. Was Eisenhower anti-capitalist when we had a 70% upper-income tax rate?

"That anti-capitalist talk is bullshit propaganda from the Republican talking-point planners at FOX and CNBC."

Exactly! That is the biggest lie that is being told. Therefore it's the one which needs to be countered most, in order to expose the liars for what they are and discredit them.

OWS IS NOT ABOUT ENDING CAPITALISM It is about removing undue and improper monetary influence from our political systems and elected officials.

End the cashocracy!

Sure I get his point and support re-imposing Glass Stegall - but Congress (both parties) are bought and paid for -- Occupy has picked the right target to mobilize America to wake up, but next yes people need to get involved in candidate selection in the primaries of both parties and endorse candidates that truly support Election and Campaign finance reform so we can get a political class that will break these banks up.
