If we wish to move the OWS spirit of discontent we need to agree how to achieve what we want and we need to be united and of a like mind as to what we want 1st. Rome wasn’t built in a day and we will not get anywhere unless we achieve the goal that will allow us to achieve all others!

Namely we have to get our country and our government to represent and be responsive to we the 99%! One we have achieved this then we will have the structure within which all other matters can be transparently discussed/debated.

I realize it is not terribly democratic but we need a leader to rise from our ranks - one who will speak for us and one who we stand behind.

How do we decide who this is going to be?

I am not suggesting that the 99% should rule by consensus - what I am saying is we need someone or a few people to be our representatives …. 10,000 or more cannot communicate with those who we will need to.

The “demands” of the current 99% are so diverse that they will never be met until we have an efficient and representative forum.

We need someone to at least be our communicator

I think OWS should stay out of leadership. The US needs representation of the 99%. It's not that the 99% should rule by concensus.
