Forum Post: Which Republican are you voting for in the fall?

Posted 11 years ago on May 1, 2012, 1:50 p.m. EST by JusticeForTrayvon (34)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

O-bomb-ya or Bomb-ney?

Whatever you decide, the military industrial complex thanks you for your participation.

The 1% and the war profiteers at the top knew that a Democrat president was inevitable. So they just made sure it was their Democrat. If you think Obama is acting like a Republican now, just wait till his second term. You want more conservative Supreme Court justices? Wait for them, they'll get here.

The 1% are not going to lose control of the SC. Obama is their man, and so is Romney.

Welcome to the world.

Unfortunatley I suspect you are right. For gods sake Obama is more conservetive than Nixon was but dont tell that to the democrats on here.

[-] 2 points by brightonsage (4494) 11 years ago

Straight Whig ticket.

[-] 2 points by RevolutionCA (33) 11 years ago

Im not voting for Obama or Romney. My state will probably vote for Obama so it really doesn't matter who I vote for.

[-] 2 points by bensdad (8977) 11 years ago

These four men REQUIRE that you vote for Obama

John Roberts +
Antonin Scalia +
Clarence Thomas +
Samuel Alito

If you don’t believe them,
…….ask Newt Gingrich or John McCain about Citizens United
OR
…….ask the family of any soldier killed in Iraq about bush v Gore

OR

Are you afraid to
……tell me why supreme court appointments make no difference ?

If you cannot see the difference between the democrats and the Rs –
.……and believe that President Gore would invade Iraq, or NOT read his PDBs –
…………..………………………………………………..you are blind

If you want to do what Davis & Lee failed to do
……………..……………………………………….…….you are crazy

Just because Scalia and Thomas take koch brothers money – you don’t have to

Are you thick? Obama has revealed himself to be one of the biggest GOP presidents in history. Did you miss the bomb dropping, drone flying, phone tapping, gitmo supercharging mayhem? Sure, he cut the defense budget. by one percent. Sure, he gave Bin Laden the death penalty. Sure, he did exactly the least he could to placate us. The 1% win either way. Are you naive enough to think O-bomb-ya WON'T fill the court with conservatives when his true colors come out in his second term? He's only slightly hidden his GOP agenda, and barely at that. Where have you been living?

[-] 2 points by GypsyKing (8708) 11 years ago

A now established troll with the name JusticeForTravon needs to go away. That's a hint, and you should take it.

[-] 4 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 11 years ago

Yup, this is the same racist scum and defender of Shoot First laws that has been casting his filthy shadow here recently.

He is VERY clearly a right wing plant, possibly even from StormFront. No doubt his reason for his Obamaphobia is the simple fact that Obama is Black. Wouldn't surprise me a bit.

He has no problem with the GOP as he pretends: he has been parroting their talking points since his first appearance here.

[-] 1 points by GypsyKing (8708) 11 years ago

Yes, I think this guy needs to go. Race baiting isn't to be tollerated on this forum.

[-] -1 points by JusticeForTrayvon (34) 11 years ago

When did I race-bait? I'm calling for justice for a person who has been abused by the system, the same thing Bensdad and other members have been doing. Do you want to ban them also? Why?

[-] 2 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 11 years ago

Bullshit. You did precisely the opposite, defending the very laws that make more deaths like Trayvon's likely. You defended vigilantism itself.

You can lie to yourself but your words here speak for themselves and don't fool anyone.

[-] -2 points by JusticeForTrayvon (34) 11 years ago

What the heck are you talking about? You're putting words in my mouth. I said there wasn't anything wrong with SYG laws, but Zimmerman did not follow them and needs to be thrown in jail.

[-] 2 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 11 years ago

I didn't mention Zimmerman. I said the laws were vigilantism and racist, and were likely to make MORE deaths LIKE Trayvon's happen in the future. And you didn't care.

Nor were you capable of understanding the racism (and profit motive) behind them. And you refused to let in the fact that "Shoot First" laws were completely unnecessary, repeatedly ignoring my many reminders that self defense laws were already on the books, and cowboy vigilantism was not required either by circumstances or law in order to defend oneself. And in Florida, the now legalized murder spree has already begun. Since the law passed there, the number of "justified" homicides has tripled, almost overnight. That's what you defended.

So you can deny what you said, but it's all there in black and white on that other thread. And your racist attitudes were in evidence in high relief on yet another thread in which you implied that Whites were victims of racism because Black colleges existed. (This despite the fact that Whites are NOT barred from Black colleges, and the fact that Affirmative Action has been made illegal in White colleges buy the republitards on the Supreme Court..)

You are a dissembling, utterly dishonest piece of shit. And I have wasted too much of my time on you.

[-] -2 points by JusticeForTrayvon (34) 11 years ago

Wow. Such anger and self hatred.

That reminds me, you never answered my question, I guess you don't know the answer.

[-] 1 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 11 years ago

Which question was that: the purely racist one on the other thread?

You're right. I have nothing but anger, hatred and revulsion for smug, glib, intentionally and proudly ignorant racists like you.

[-] 0 points by JusticeForTrayvon (34) 11 years ago

Struggle through it, and maybe some day you can live a truly hate-free life. Maybe then there will be an end to strife in the world, if everyone can manage to stop hating each other.

[-] 1 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 11 years ago

Struggle through it, and maybe you'll get two of your brain cells to communicate with each other.

[-] 0 points by JusticeForTrayvon (34) 11 years ago

I've already spent all my effort on getting your mom to tie her own shoes.

[-] -1 points by JusticeForTrayvon (34) 11 years ago

Okay, a few questions here, first of all:

What did I say that was racist? Could you link me up, please? My life, as should everyone's, has been a constant journey to suppress natural human racism. If you see any, seriously, I would like to start a thread apologizing for it.

Also, amid your repeated onslaught of personal attacks, you forgot to answer my last question I had, and I am really curious to see an answer. Please don't keep being afraid to answer, we are all trying to learn here and I would like to learn from everyone else just as much as we all want to learn. I can get you a link to it if you have misplaced it.

Thirdly, does the GOP really call for Justice for Trayvon, and an end to bombing foreign countries? Doesn't sound like their talking points to me, but hey, if that's their new platform I think they are probably more left wing than the Democrats.

If I was a troll, you seriously think telling me to leave would work? It's like feeding a stray cat and shooing them away at the same time.

[-] 0 points by PeterKropotkin (1050) from Oakland, CA 11 years ago

There is no point in arguing with these ineffectual establishment amrchair liberal jack offs. They will defend the name of their dear leader no matter what he does. Even if he apppointed joseph goebbels to the supreme court.

A troll named JusitceForTrayvon is even more sleezy than sleezo.

[-] -3 points by JusticeForTrayvon (34) 11 years ago

What do you have against Trayvon?

[-] 1 points by TitusMoans (2451) from Boulder City, NV 11 years ago

Abraham Lincoln, after all he suspended writs of habeas corpus and declared martial law; just what we need in these trying times. Wait, most of that has been already been taken care of by our past two presidents.

vote ron paul and legalize marijuana. at least get one thing right

[-] 3 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 11 years ago

If you vote Ron Paul, it just means you've smoked too much already.

[-] 0 points by gestopomillyy (1695) 11 years ago

its not like either obama or romney are going to be of any benifit for anyone, it a game of 'lesser of two evils' may as well get at least one good thing done in the midst of the economic devastation and the next world war.

[-] 2 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 11 years ago

Ron Paul is the most right wing of all of them. He is pure evil.

[-] 2 points by GypsyKing (8708) 11 years ago

I agree. I spent a long time fighting the Ron Paul people trying to coopt this movement. Thank God they've mostly either gone away,or gone underground, in the sense that they don't reffer to him by name.

It is an outrage to me that people would consider uniting with Ron Paul, while bashing moveon.org! We need to learn, if we haven't done so already, who our friends are and who they are not.

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Co-opt the movement? They were and still are a nice chunk of it. Again, if you actually participated instead of sitting on your computer you would realize this.

Pretty hard to have a movement against corrupted banking and not include the Paul people.

Nader gave us the Iraq war – deregulation – halliburton - alito - roberts etc etc etc etc
Just think of the fun America will have if you vote for another third party candidate!
President Bain Romney ! ……… and more scalia clones like thomas

You gotta believe –
………….the only ones who don’t want you to vote Democratic-
…………………………………………………………………….are the tea potty !

You remember “George-yellowcake uranium”.
You remember “ Dick-Iam not a crook”.
You remember “Ronnie-I don’t remember my treasonous acts”.

Now we have “Ron-I don’t remember my disgusting newletters”.

@--> A 1992 passage from the Ron Paul Political Report about the Los Angeles riots read, “Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks.” Another Paul newsletter asserted that people with AIDS should not be allowed to eat in restaurants because “AIDS can be transmitted by saliva”;

@--> In 1990 one of Ron Paul’s publications criticized Ronald Reagan for having gone along with the creation of the federal holiday honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., which it called “Hate Whitey Day.”

@--> Ron Paul’s newsletter called Barbara Jordan, the African-American Texas congresswoman, a “half-educated victimologist” and said of crime in Washington, D.C., “I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal.”

@--> ”If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be." - Ron Paul, 1992

@--> "Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,' I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal." - Ron Paul, 1992

@--> "We don't think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That's true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such." - Ron Paul, 1992

@--> Ron Paul’s newsletter was listed by a neo-Nazi group called Heritage Front, as recommended reading. { you gotta believe the doctor }

@--> The September 1994 issue of the Ron Paul Survival Report states that “those who don’t commit sodomy, who don’t get blood a transfusion, and who don’t swap needles, are virtually assured of not getting AIDS unless they are deliberately infected by a malicious gay.”

@--> In the April 1993 Ron Paul Survival Report, the author states, “Whether [the 1993 World Trade Center bombing] was a setup by the Israeli Mossad, as a Jewish friend of mine suspects, or was truly a retaliation by the Islamic fundamentalists, matters little.”

@--> Ron Paul SIGNED 1993 appeal for funds letter: "Israeli lobby plays Congress like a cheap harmonica," warned of a "race war" and said there was a gay-led cover up of AIDS. The letter suggests, that new $100 bills distributed by the Treasury and ostensibly aimed at tracking drug money were instead aimed at keeping track of all citizens. "I held the ugly new bills in my hands," the letter says. "I can tell you -- they made my skin crawl!"
Then "my training as a physician helps me see through" what he calls the "federal-homosexual cover-up on AIDS." The letter warns of a "coming race war in our big cities"

@--> Ron Paul December 2, 2011 Ron Paul Believes that Corporate Lobbying = Liberty: “I Take The Position That You Should Never Restrict Lobbying…”
About Citizens United - "It's corporations' money, they can do whatever they want with it."

You can claim – b.b.b.b.b.but Ron did not write these awful things! HE PRINTED THEM!

And I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that deregulating-Ron would not want

a regulating Food and Drug Administration to ensure the safety of your food or meds
[ if you are poisoned, your estate can sue ],
or
a regulating Environmental Protection Agency
[ if your land is poisoned by a fracker – move ],
or
a regulating Federal Aviation Administration
[ if you are a scardy cat, take the train ],
or
a regulating Nuclear Regulatory Commission
[ you don’t want your nuclears regulated, do you? ],
or
a regulating National Transportation and Safety Board
[ you know how to safety and crash test your car, don’t you? ],
or
a regulating Securities and Exchange Commission
[ you always elect honest corporate leaders, right ? ]
or
a nuclear bomb free Iran [ don’t all maniacs need one ? ]
or
a democratic ally in the middle east - like Israel
[ "Israeli lobby plays Congress like a cheap harmonica" – RP ]

Four years ago, Ron Paul generated controversy by not repudiating the endorsement of the neo-Nazi group Stormfront, This time, they seem proud about getting the support of a Nebraska Pastor who has made some revealing comments:
Ron Paul’s Iowa chairman, Drew Ivers, recently touted the endorsement
of Rev. Phillip G. Kayser
,
praising “the enlightening statements he makes on how Ron Paul’s approach to government is consistent with Christian beliefs.” Kayser’s views on homosexuality go way beyond the bounds of typical anti-gay evangelical politics and into the violent fringe - Kayser recently authored a paper arguing for
criminalizing homosexuality and advocated imposing the death penalty
against offenders based on his reading of Biblical law: “As we have seen, while many homosexuals would be executed, the threat of capital punishment can be restorative.”
Has Ron Paul repudiated this endorsement?

My guess is that just like
Ron Paul tried to shove the
Ron Paul Newsletters under the carpet,
Ron Paul will try to shove his
Ron Paul endorser there too

It is fascinating how, despite the fact that fox hates Ron Paul,
he uses the same tactics of deceit and obfuscation.

Please note – I’m not saying Ron is 100% nuts – just 99.4% pure

.................................................................
just a tiny fun fact - do you know who Ron named his senator son after?

google the libertarian queen’s name together with the name “William Hickman”

Those that write in Ron Paul would take votes away from Romney, you dumb shit. You should be supporting them, if your goal is more Obama.

If vulgarity is an early sign of dementia, then most of OWS must be on their way out...didnt mean to offend you. Just figured you werent too bright if you want Obama in the whitehouse, and dont think Republicans writing in Ron Paul wont help.

So what? Bush is a registered republican. Shit heads can choose their associations in this country. Thing is not to let them get away with crime.
