WW is a small rural town in Upstate New York.My partner is a truck driver who was in town a few days ago when he was pressed into service to help a local family man repair a well pump. When he got there, the man was clearing out all types of miscellaneous items, trash and junk from a barn and hurling all of it onto a bonfire. The trucker was able to rescue a very large bundle of nylon rope that was unopened. It would cost 70 bucks at Tractor supply, and the guy was gonna burn it.Also rescued was a brand new jumbo sized Salamander in need of a minor repair. In the other barn are 2 horses.and a pony. These animals are never fed or watered and are starving to death. While the truck driver was there, the pony escaped and threw itself into a rocky, steep sided ravine and had to be rescued. One of the 2 horses can't possibly live much longer because its teeth have not been maintained and it can't eat, even if the God of Horses sends it some food with a Horse Miracle. The man was clearing out the secondary barn so he can get...more horses.Inside the mobile home,a coating of grease covers every surface, and dust has settled upon it,creating a substance called by Jews shmutz. The entire trailer is filthy and disorderly in the extreme.Pizza boxes, fast food garbage-no evidence of cooking. There are guns&ammo everywhere. The 4 children are ages 4,3,2,and 6 months. The house is filled with flies, the children are crusty dirty, clothes stiff with dirt.Over a 3 hour period Mom never was seen, although she was audible talking on a cellphone in a bedroom. The smell of urine from unattended diapers was like a punch in the face upon entry, and caused a severe headache to the truck driver. There is so much more I could describe, but that's it in a nutshell,FYI..The children were silent and motionless in front of the teevee.I wonder if anyone ever talks to them? Somehow I would tend to think not. What must the children be thinking?
