Unfortunately for the berndog, his views are irrelevant when working under the 100 year old structure of that party. He is essentially neutered because he has owners.

tc ... Bernie is an independent ... first running on dem ticket ... if he can't win that .. he will run on his ticket ... anyway he is completely grassroots right now... no-one has bought him... and if you know his history .. no-one will

Besides, he already said he'll back hillary if she gets the nod. Wow, what leadership lol.

let me know if he becomes a pacifist

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 8 years ago

So you are telling me that if the establishment decides to give him the nod - which I could see as part of a larger strategy in the actual election- that he is not going to open up campaign offices all over, tv commercials, etc?

He is going to stay grassroots?

Quite frankly, the DNC wont allow that.

maybe so... but right now he does look like our best bet... maybe he should be on the republican ticket as well !!

[-] 1 points by MattHolck0 (3867) 8 years ago

that''s because our choice are preselected

[-] 1 points by BradB (2693) from Washington, DC 8 years ago

oh yeah ... preselected by who ?

media ?

[-] 1 points by MattHolck0 (3867) 8 years ago

the united states desire to sell more weapons and rule the world

[-] 1 points by BradB (2693) from Washington, DC 8 years ago

it's not the United States that believes that ... it's the industrial military complex ... much money but few members .. we CAN beat them with numbers

That would be something = " maybe he should on the republican ticket as well !! "

As there really isn't an independent ticket - he really couldn't run on all three - except in personal declaration.

Everyone is so tied up in the presidential elections - but they fail to get properly involved with all of the other elections that make up the bodies of government.

At least Elizabeth and Bernie are calling for people to get involved with the whole process of government - from the bottom to the top - but Elizabeth so far is doing a better job of expressing the need for the people to put people into office at all levels of government (LOCAL STATE & FEDERAL)

You are a smart guy politically, as am I, and we both know that there is zero chance of the DNC letting one of their candidates get into the limelight without playing ball with them.

I mean, right?

right now....

A Deep Dive Into Party Affiliation. 39% of Americans identify as independents, more than they do as Democrats ( 32%) or as Republicans (23%). This is the highest percentage of independents in more than 75 years of public opinion polling.

best strategy ... run on dem primary ... grab those votes ... if & when DNC drops him ... take those new votes to Independent ticket

[-] 1 points by BradB (2693) from Washington, DC 8 years ago

fuk the DNC !! hehehe

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 8 years ago

Maybe he should grow a pair and do all of this grassroots organizing for a real people's party?

"we need to focus more heavily on diplomatic alternatives to war."

we need to stop making excuses and stop air strike

we need to stop the distribution of weapons from the US around the world

[-] 1 points by BradB (2693) from Washington, DC 8 years ago

we all agree Matt ... but how do you effectively do that ? just posting here will make little impact ... supporting & promoting a candidate that agrees w/ you .. will make some ... a revolution might make more !!

[-] 1 points by MattHolck0 (3867) 8 years ago

announce the daily airstrike count while on tour

write it in large letters held by members of the audience
