I mean the Civil Rights movement didn't end racism.

I can assure you, it is alive and well, so the question is what would REALLY, "change the world"?

I guess natural disasters work pretty good, that always tends to bring people together...but no one wants to hope for that.

9/11 was a very unifying event, but again, no one hopes for that either.

So, what if "the gods of heaven" descended, again?

It's written in every religious and historical text available that there is a 'they- up there' (*U.F.O's.), so what if we could get them to show up somewhere?

Maybe like at the opening ceremonies at the next Olympics?

I honestly can't think of a more humanizing, equalizing, balancing thing to happen to those of us who call Earth "home". I do however think that it would be more of an 'evolution' rather than 'revolution'.

In any case, would you sign this petition: http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/openingceremoies2012/
