Forum Post: What is going on with this Egypt trip using OWS funds?

I am not sure those who donated to the cause will appreciate the fact that 29K is going to be used for a trip to Egypt.
Is this trip still planned or has it been cancelled. That 29K can be used to provide food,shoes,aid, maybe renting a place or two for providing showers etc..
Why was this money allocated for this purpose. How were the 20 chosen for this trip? were the OWS protestors all provided a ballot or a method to voice thier opinion on the matter?
No......the 1% of the OWS group is deciding what should be done for the other 98%........and how their money is spent.........
They used it to rent a condo in battery park city while they plan how to use the rest of the 500k
The 1% of the 99% are taking monetary advantage of their underlings. NOW SURELY someone should stand up for that, it's pretty unfair.
