A "Go Slow" strike is where workers unite and take 2 and 3 times as long to do the job. It causes profits to fall and eventually loses to be incurred.

Advantages of a "Go Slow" strike. Workers still get paid while attending work Bosses don't know it has commenced, although they will eventually catch on. It can be called off but recommenced at various times during the year It affects the only thing bosses are concerned about - profits It's hard to prove it is a strike if everyone just acts dumb, bosses think workers are dumb anyway

"Go Slow", "Act Dumb" tactics were used with great effectiveness by Papua New Guineans to get rid of the Australian colonial administration. Papua New Guineans knew Australians were ripping profits out of their country and they were getting paid less than a tenth of the wage rate of the Australians so they took ten times as long to do things and acted ten times as dumb. In the years leading up to independence in 1975 they started murdering Australians for the first time ever. So called "primative people" were not so dumb afterall.

If you're doing a low paid, dead end job who cares. There is a never ending supply of low paid dead end jobs.

And the one 'dumb' worker who gets a raise for telling the boss about it and gets the 'go slows' shitcanned. Perfect plan.
