The best solution to many of the inequalities which are taking place in our society can be resolved very quickly and easily. The solution is to outlaw discounts for volume. This will instantly allow small and new businesses to compete with the wall street monopolies. Small towns would thrive again and jobs would be created by many small companies rather than just a few mega-monopolies.
Have student loans forgiven. It doesn't make sense that one can get overwhelming debts discharged through bankruptcy, but not student loans. Young graduates are the new indentured servants, working all their lives to pay off debt accrued before they get started. Ancient people had a jubilee year to make a fresh start. Why can't America?
