It's simple math. But to do good arithmetic you need honest numbers. The Census Bureau and BLS are a good place to start. The Levy institute will show that the net worth [equity and property free and clear] of all Americans was 48T in 2004 (more in 2007) and 1% of the people owned more than a third of it. (worse in 2007 and even worse today) The next 9% had more than 17T. $10.94 trillion was in excess of the first $5M each owned by top 0.999% of American Households. So if we had taxed all Americans (“rich and poor alike, every single penny”) for 100% of their property and everyone got the same $5 Million deduction, we'd have raised $10.94 T when the debt was quite a bit lower than the $15T it is today. And the rich assholes would still have $5M each. Do the cons back up their numbers?

The title, it turns out, was a mistake because it diverted attention from the danger of concentration of wealth to the imaginary danger of trolls. The result is that the beasts are sheilded from the light that would have destroyed them. But the irony is amusing. I wonder what happens if I edit the title?
The title was changed but the link remained the same, with the old title. There's something to be said for permanence, even if what you see is not what you get.

No Government documents were cited in my post. But most Census Bureau and BLS documents are provided in MS word [.doc] and pdf. Surely the "Portable Document Format" is as searchable as any. But I guess if your aim is to corrupt the truth to serve troll processes and ends, or you merely wish to divert to your comfort zone of conservative fictions, any objection, no matter how specious and irrelevant, will do.

Troll is a relative word. I'm a socialist who believes in the methods of OWS, i.e. fighting the broken system from the outside without getting involved in partisan politics. I'm called a troll by those who promote Obama and would like OWS to fight from within the system by promoting voting, sending letters to the President, etc...
The only thing that matters here are ideas. Attacking the proposer by calling him a troll is a logical fallacy. Counter argue the claims of those you call "trolls", or simply ignore them.

Using various sock puppets is not trolling. It's simply a method of civil disobedience much like OWS protesters use on a daily basis. You can evict a user, but you cannot evict an idea.
