Hawaii has rich energy resources easily tapped (wind, tidal, geothermal, solar, biomass) immense natural food resources with wild Polynesian boar, Spanish goats, Hawaiian ibex, axis deer, blacktail deer, wild cattle, mouflon, feral sheep, feral europeon rabbit, Rio Grande turkeys, feral chickens, 14 varieties of upland birds for hunting, and of course freshwater and saltwater fishing that means plenty of seafood and all kinds of tropical fruits and veggies growing naturally/feral. Of course we can always have our own species we cultivate with our permaculture gardens, foodforests, and aquaculture/aquaponics at our ows eco village!
