I am going to pitch my tent today in front of City Hall, SW corner. I know some flooded and angry neighbors that may do the same.....

Yesterday morning, there were flooded residents shouting at a city official. See, they had been summoned that morning for a meeting with a FEMA rep. Then, well after the meeting time, still no sign of FEMA. Then the Mayor was seen taking off out of the Front of the building. The people were irate because they hadn't heard a word from the mayor all week. I think hardly anyone has. (The Emergency Management and Homeland Sercurity armored Bus was parked in front of City Hall the entire time and no one ever came out.) Please let me know if you ever see information about Jersey City's flood on the Weather Channel or CNN, because I had the weather channel's 24-hour recovery coverage on Wednesday through Yesterday and there wasn't hardly a word.

Evidently, a huge portion of Downtown Jersey City has flooded three times in the last 4 years. And a resident here was telling me that he feels that there has been Next to No press coverage of these floods. Sandy had the highest water level max by several feet and Irene was the second. There is a team of us helping a resident on York St. between Marin and Grove St. We're, taking all of the Wall and Ceiling panels out of his bottom/garden level. All the dry wall and insulation is soaked and he said that all of it was about a year old, replaced after Irene.

come on out, its a nice day to set up camp!!!

peace and love, S

Obama has already made his rounds of NJ; done with that.
