Obama should not offer anything
but
if he had to - here is it:

"If the House and Senate both pass a full repeal
of the whole ACA, I will sign it"

The next time the House sends a "re-fund" the WIC program - the Senate should pass it for at least a year
AT DOUBLE THE FUNDING

At this point, he shouldn't offer a damn thing. Nothing.

Orangeman said he will NOT let America default -
for what thats worth
lets face it - he is an Rs
but he is not crazy

his wall st owners would crush him like a bug
I would guess the dow would immediately drop 1000+ pts
and proceed to drop another few thousand in a month or two
and bonds would loose 20% - 30% of their value
and mortgage and variable rate loans will become 20%-30% more expensive

I do hope that it is clear that my proposal is the same as nothing..
If the Rs accepted this deal, would the tp really accept this as a good deal to ssave face - or would the tp just see thier employees as the idiots they are.

I recently heard a useful term - NEOCONFEDERATE

this may be sacrilege, but consider what would have happened if
Lincold decided not to stop the CSA

my guees is that before 1880: USA would have barreled ahead into the 20th century with civil rights, education, manufacturing international trade.
CSA would have bogged down in a three class society swamp
plantations, poor whites, slaves
the slaves would have flooded N into USA
(like the 1960s East Germans that saw WG next door) the poor whites would have woken up to the fact that their CSA was not for them but for the plantation owners

Between the flood of labor moving north, . the anger of poor whites,
the stagnation of the CSA economy,
and the total success of a nation next door,
the CSA would BEG for reunification
and they woulud be happy to abandon the anti-American
neoconfederate philosophy that infests our country today
