a fish in a fish tank has no idea it is not free, nor that someone else is rationing it's food; nor that it is relying on someone else to clean the tank... would we blame the fish for not trying hard enough to get out of the bowl? A cow in a field has no idea it that while it eats the grass and feels happy and free that it's only purpose is to serve someone else nor that his time here will be chosen according to someone else's clock.

Unfortunately, most of them are working really long hours at really low paying jobs to support their families and they don't have much time for anything else. They are just trying to keep it together, pay their bills, put food on the table and raise their children.
