It takes two to screw us! Politicians to hold us down, so then the Corporations can do the screwing!!! Politicians need better rules to follow to prevent lobbying! We tax payers should also fund important elections, so the best person wins and not the one with the most money!!! The movement needs at least these 2 demands!!! Politicians need to be fair and keep it balanced for all and not start class warfare! They all need fired so we can start over but next time they work for everyone and not favor one group over another. Write it down and pass the word!!!

no, I'm pretty sure everyone is confused because of the bad grammar, oceanweed. For example, it's "you're" a republican, not "your" ... the correct way to use 'your' would be "Congratulations Mr. CEO of Goldmann Sachs, here's YOUR newly purchased republican/democrat. I'm sure YOU'RE going to get a lot of good mileage out of them"

stop the fox spin

The rebuttal is fair. If anyone feels that he is not paying "enough" in taxes, the Treasury would be glad to accept a check for however much is "enough."

I'm sure he would be willing to write a check, which I guess would be less than 1 Billion $. Our deficit is trillions of dollars. How will his donation reduce our country's deficit. You think, he is a fool ?

So Buffett is the only one who feels that he's not paying enough in taxes? That's his problem then.

[-] 1 points by littleg (452) 12 years ago

There are many, but not a majority of 1%. In a recent Obama speech in Silicon valley, an entrepreneur asked Obama to raise his taxes.

Who likes to pay taxes ? Nobody !, not me not you.

But wise men know that taxes need to be paid/collected in order to run this country as a leader among developed countries. Anyways USA is already not in top 5 nations in every field that matters.

So if it's not a majority of the "1%," whoever they are, why are they trying to force their preferences on others? If any of them thinks that his tax expense is not "enough," he is welcome to send the Treasury a check for however much is "enough."

Unfortunately, wise men are rare ! Some even can't identify who is wise and who is not ! :)

"...say send a check in thats why ows is on the streets inequality" I'm not a democrat or republican... So please, Clarify? Are you saying Warren Buffet wants the Republicans to get MORE money and to send in the checks?

[-] 2 points by oceanweed (521) 12 years ago

[-] 1 points by brokensystem732 (23) from Keansburg, NJ 12 years ago

Because, in this case, I didn't understand clearly what you were trying to say? And the post didn't make any sense to ME?

Yeah, that's why.
