We need to do more than just protest. Let's create voter registration booths at all occupy sites. Also have a hyperlink at the home page to local voter registration sites. Our voices must be ultimately be heard at the voting booth!

But who do we vote for. The US Government is the most corrupt governmnet in the world and its run by the worst criminals our society has. Have you looked at our choices for president? The choices are really bad to even worse. Look at our congress, everyone of them has been bought and paid for by corperate america.

Yes! Voter Registration and Education is needed. It creates contact points to the people. All peaceful methods must be exhausted, clearly exhausted. People have died for the right to vote! It is a positive activity that we should all be involved in. Plus, find out more about where Voting Booths are and see about getting them to be more accessible by poor folks. 2012 will be even a better year than 2011 for the People's Resistance! @Peta_de_Aztlan

Wowzers! A few of you have defeatist attitudes. No wonder the Democrats let the GOP walk all over them. "There's nothing really we can do.....so don't even bother to vote. We can't effect change. Let's just whine about it." Geesh. Right now the GOP control the House. They do not care for the middle class. The Democrats do however. But if you are just going to sit back and stay home on election day because you think "what's the point", then you deserve to violated. Voting for the lesser of two evils is better than not voting at all.

But there is really no great choice for us to vote for.

I understand. But at the end of the day it will be those who want change the most and who can actualize use those changes ( e.g. registered to vote) will win it. Why do the rich get richer? Because they want it more and actually go out and vote in those who will make them richer.

Yes but Obama extended the tax cuts for the rich this year. And he will sign the tax cut that just passed as well. Any Republican will do the same. There really is nothing we can do about it.
