Why don't we begin to "UnOccupy" certain organizations and businesses in order to make a change? Since the Occupation of certain areas as a protest has been slowly shutting down, a movement towards "UnOccupying" would be headed in the direction that the Occupy Movement is already headed but moving it towards a social change, instead of a retreat. "UnOccupy" not in a sense of space but rather participation and endorsement of certain businesses and organizations that are contributing to the social and economic injustice. Rather a kind of boycott under the Occupy Movement since the infrastructure for such a movement is already in place with the Occupy Movement. What do you say?

The movement needs a direction after being shut down from occupying. One that avoids the political system that is at fault for the injustice. Working within the system and politics isn't the right way. It only softens the blow and shows people are too willing to play their game. UnOccupy!

Not a bad idea, but in addition to everything else, not as a replacement for it. And working in the political system, by itself not a panacea, should not be taken off the table. Effectiveness is not purity. Either/or scenarios are less effective than this PLUS that ones.
