When I first heard this was the gomert amendment, I was shocked that it sounded like I could support it - even though it came from schmuck gomert - who wants guns in schools
Then I watched the video - and realized gomert is a deceptive schmuck

I never actually accepted the term "bailout", as it's a term that was chosen for us. By whom, doesn't matter.
That's what it was, extortion, so yeah, I think they would have took what they perceive as their "Baseball" and went home, at least enough to lend credence to their bluff, and it fell far enough to give that appearance anyway.
The question we should be asking ourselves, is what will come after the derivatives?
After they have extended and leveraged those are far as they can get away with, they WILL come up with something else even worse.
