Holy Shit.

This is why I say that the only way out of this continual downfall into a disgusting, filthy corporate run mess is radical, big change. And the current crop of ideas offered by Congress are simply pathetic.

And the people wont have the will to change what they dont understand.

This is why the people in Cuba are making 450 pesos a month, which is equal to $19 a month in US dollars. They get all those "free" entitlements taken out of their paychecks FIRST, but they brag about not having to pay any taxes!

But that's changing too! The government is going in crease their wages and THEN make them pay taxes. Isn't it great?

Entitlements are NEVER free. Someone pays for them.

the bulk of their economic problem resides in the embargo on them.

Funny..wouldn't keeping the evil, rich, money grubbing Americans and their business practices OUT of Cuba have made things better for Cuba....?

Yeah, a recent National Geographic had an article on Cuba and I thought about posting about it, but figured it was a waste of time.

A true Socialist's Paradise/Success Story. Amazing that most of the posters here think Socialism can work.

Can't blame the evil rich and wealthy for this - they are the ones who are paying for the people with their hands out.

Right now we have 11 states that have more income takers then there are income makers.

Wow. I didn't know that about the 11 'death spiral states". I did read that North Dakota and Wyoming are the best run states in America. Can we put them in charge?

Heres a fun toy to play with

See how well your state stacks up against the others!

Wiki states that Wyoming is the nation leader in federal subsidies per capita. Im not sure we want more of that.

Our only hope is that as things get worse, people will wake up instead of clamoring to the same ones that caused it for help.
