Interesting indeed. This election is going to be nuts.

Not just this election, ALL elections are of the nuts, for the nuts, and by the nuts. The squirrel hugging the acorn hopping up the tree has already been incapacitated for stealing nuts. There are 3£ nuts, 3€ nuts, 69$ nuts, Wall-nuts, cash-nuts, do-nuts, hassle-nuts, pea-nuts, go-nuts, nuts, nuts, nuts! Nuts are everywhere.

Herr Dummpf has already been endo-ducated by the Establishment so what we heard would not be what we would get. That seems awfully familiar, doesn't it?

Bernie seems to be fighting for the demonkrapts' promises in the to-be-ignored platform which Mx. Cheese will invalidate in office. This is because the demonkrapts have get-rich promises to keep, correct? Aha, aha?

Maybe the Promisekeepers are indeed what we really need.

The only thing a bully has ever understood is a fuckin punch to the face.

I always said that. But then why are many against violence? As if the establishment programed that into our thinking with their propaganda to assure a real revolution from ever happening.

Have you ever lived through a real revolution? If you have, you may appreciate non-violence better. The situation is akin to a dam and the water. The Establishment shores up the dam so none of it moves anywhere but the wrath of the people builds and builds.

When the Immovable fights with the Irresistible, woe, woe, woe!

The problem is that as soon as one takes the potential for violence off the table, one has lost all power. The argument needs to be "let us talk and be reasonable, or else...... " Even the great Ghandi used violence in this way. But taking violence off the table before the argument ever starts, basically amounts to throwing in the towel; and those in power know that.

"as soon as one takes the potential for violence off the table, one has lost all power." is false because the premise can never be true.

The essence of life is electric fire burning. To satisfy the premise for real, one must extinguish much life but the false peace will always be temporary because life grows and replicates. Any serious student of history knows the eventual result of the Immovable fighting with the Irresistible. Time brings change. Be focused and patient. Anyone who has climbed a precipice knows that the climbing down can be much scarier than climbing up. The less authoritative one can actually be more powerful because possessing authority imposes constraints.

I question Trump's stated desire to do away with Dodd-Frank. It's a time-tested general rule of governance that one understands a law/regulation's role and provide a replacement before ripping it away. As in climbing a precipice, the next state must be assessed carefully before moving away from the present state.

Slick Willie's helping (in Gramm-Leach-Bliley) to free the 69$ Wall-nuts to build up to the Great Recession felt worldwide illustrates the danger of neoliberalism's ignoring age-old wisdoms like Glass-Steagall.

Role switching may create understanding without bullying. Treating Herr Dummpf as the mysterious artful instrument of Peace between Nixon and Mao in their historic meeting together should help. The Middle East can certainly use such an instrument of Peace which under-stands.
