The Wisconsin vote will show America that balanced budgets do matter and that voters are in favor of them. Scott Walker will be given a vote of confidence to keep up the good work that he has been doing. On Wisconsin!

MONEY DONATED

Scott Walker - 40 million

Tom Barrett - 4 million

The right wing wants to crush Unions. The donors will to insure it happens.

This is the rich telling us how it's going to be. Yep Pee Ki Yay!!!

Please tell me when I can start worshiping money like they do. I want to make sure I don't miss that GREED train pulling out of the station.

They don't just want to crush unions, Puzzlin, they want to crush labor as a whole. They want this nation to be a nation of slave wage earners. And, they don't want the slave wage earners to realize it. They want them to think they are "free." What a joke.

[-] 2 points by Puzzlin (2898) 11 years ago

This is it. The Unions created the middle class and now, well now, we see the middle class in decline and along with them, the Unions. No accident.

union members getting benefits makes non union workers want benefits

[-] 4 points by beautifulworld (23771) 11 years ago

Exactly. It is labor as a whole that is the target. NOT just unions. They want to crush the American worker and return him to feudal times. Wake up people!

Already starting with the excuses on why you lost?

You lost because unions are abusing the tax payers and they've had enough. Not because of any other reason.

Deal with it.

Today is the day, Wisconsin!

Vote out Walker and his cronies. Kick Koch in the nuts.

Elect a New Governor - Barret.

Send the Ex on to his prosecution free and clear of any interference with the governing of your state.

Wonder how much Walker might owe his love child in unpaid child care - is he a deadbeat dad as well?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Protect the 99% workers' rights!

Protect the 99% hunters' rights!

Protect the 99% right to education!

There is a clear choice today. Will YOU go vote to defeat Walker & his army of 1% donors and Fox News zombies?

But vote in the special interest union? Why? Why did liberals abandon doing the public good and instead choose to simply do the bidding of the employees?

Government should be about fulfilling the mission of government and not just about adding layers of insulation for the staff.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Being a little vague. Why don't you expand on your query? Explain your problem.

[-] 1 points by RealityTime2 (-25) 11 years ago

When did it become progressive to focus on the insulating government employees from layoffs or firings rather than on things like teaching kids?

Why do liberals object to conflicts of interest in government, but then support the conflict of interest between politicians and the employees they owe their seats to? Why do liberals support politicians appeasing the unions that elected them over serving the broader populations they represent?

Why do liberals choose to balance budgets by firing teachers rather than reforming the labor relationship?

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Honestly?

It has nothing really to do with the unions of Wisconsin per say. They may very well need some real balancing.

It is about Koch and other corporate entities buying government.

These are not the Corporate States of America.

[-] 1 points by RealityTime2 (-25) 11 years ago

Wrestling control back from this very deep and clear conflict of interest is a tough job. It shows how powerful the union was. I'll just never understand how it became liberal to side with this sort of obvious and deep conflict of interest.

For people that claim to care about what government does, it's surprising they've been walked into advocating the mission to be so twisted away from what government is supposed to be about. I want to hear liberals talk about education, water quality and the like and not why someone in government should be impossible to fire or deserves a million dollar value pension.

The people of the state of Wisconsin union and non union need to deal with the issues.

Not corporations.

No, it's about ending a tiresome and problematic conflict of interest. The public is sick of having its services held hostage to a set of extortionists that have rigged the system against with this conflict of interest.

Again, I don't understand how liberals came to side with this sort of thing. Siding with making it impossible to fire a teacher hardly serves a child they used to claim to care about.

Not to worry. Now that the election is over he can be prosecuted. Wonder what the lute. gov is like?

BTW - It is about Koch and other corporate entities buying government.

Of course you know the bigots will never permit U in "Shanghai!" Not even the country-club, as a caddy.

The Shock Doctrine seems to have prevailed. Not good!

Lies, dirty tricks and an unprecedented flood of secret money works! What a surprise! Koch Bros must be quivering with excitement.

Just remember, the Nazis were elected, too!

Partisan Politics (Nazis) prevailed!

Do you see it now???????????????????

[-] 3 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Now that the election is over he can be prosecuted.

In the meantime Wisconsin will have to learn what was bought for them.

Their union does seem to need to rethink itself - perhaps it is a good thing.

Now they can perhaps be reborn to unite with the public.

These are not the Corporate States of America.

The people of the state of Wisconsin union and non union need to deal with the issues.

Not corporations.

I got censored for speaking the truth.

You don't.

Don't go Kumbaya on the WI result. That's how the Nazis took over. Listen to me, we are under attack.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

We are under attack. We will not win without uniting against this monstrous corporate evil. Look to unite while speaking the truth - it will do our cause more good - learn how to expose dangers/issues that affect us ALL and then present them as a unifying standard.

Partisan politics is a game that is used against the people - to force false alliance to the detriment of unity in pursuing health and prosperity for all.

If you are going to be partisan - be people partisan.

Do you think King-Cons are Pro-People??

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

PBS News Hour reported tonight that out of the current registered voters 38% were registered Independent followed by 32% Democrat and 28% Republican 2% undeclared. This was a good segment that also talked to the PEW research group. The independents were also described as having republican leanings and democratic leanings but not tied to follow party line. It was noted though that the independents were more issue and substance oriented and likely to swing unpredictably depending on the issue presented. Issues being key to independent's support.

This is news to you?

Micky-Ds sells a trillion slug burgers, Justin Bieber is number 1, both Raygun and W were elected and reelected; and a majority disclaims affiliation with a party.

Do you think this is by accident? Who gains? FOLLOW THE MONEY!!! Wake Up!!
