It's time to move on. It's time to get out of the parks before more incidents allow the media to create bad press, destroying everything that has been accomplished up to now. All that will occur is fights with the cops, which achieves nothing except for the agent provocateurs and sociopaths among you. The point has been made. Continuing into the winter makes no sense. It's time to get back into the communities and organize--and deal with the dirty words of "structure", "program", and "leadership", which every movement HAS TO HAVE or it FAILS.

It's a little late to leave and claim success. Too many negative news articles already. Too much antagonism between committees within the group. I believe they'll hang on though and as it drags out the small group of supporters they do have will dwindle. Too bad, they could have developed some political strength and made a difference.

OK how real is this: White House website sponsored petition PUBLIC VOTE on the COMPETING FINAL DEMOCRATIC vs FINAL REPUBLICAN vs INDEPENDENT VERSIONS of a CONGRESSIONAL BILL. http://wh.gov/bhC For example, both the Republican and Democratic parties claim to have tax code and healthcare reform plans, etc. Fine, put them in writing. Here the media polls and media talk shows would have something real to talk about before submitting the competing versions to the final decision-making responsibility of We the People.

OWS protesters could act on this SIGNING STATEMENT demanding a PUBLIC VOTE OPTION be incorporated as a new legislative continuing JOINT RESOLUTION. Binding on Congress itself to pass along the public majority winning version of a bill to the President. The legislative precedent being no legal difference between a joint resolution and a bill.

White House rules are Petitions receiving 25,000 votes in 30 days, are referred to evaluation followed by official White House statement. Petitions CANNOT be SEARCHED on WHITE HOUSE WEBSITE until it gets 150 VOTES. This link, same as above, is only way to initiate petition: http://wh.gov/bhC

Legislative PUBLIC VOTE OPTION re-strikes the BALANCE OF POWER between representation and democracy, effecting CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM via re-directing the CASH FLOW. Not sure how? Sign the petition and find out, effect starts immediately.

There is a man who has a brain. Although i would hate to see that since i want to see the marxists and radicals who are leading this movement fail miserably, so normal Americans can then take up the reigns of doing the right thing of ending corruption and returning our Republic from the grip of the Oligarchs.

You don't have to worry about them succeeding. Creating an anarchic government in America is utterly impossible. At least not in our lifetimes. They are helping your cause by raising awareness. Support them for now. Your time will come after, and yes, the Republic will be returned and the Oligarchy abolished.

I want to see OWS die miserably. 82% of America has a bad opinion of Washington. That is enough angst to make changes. Occupy Washington is coming in April from the Tea Party. That is where the real support will come. People seem to forget how many people showed up earlier in the year in Washington just for a couple days. Now that the anger has heightened and an election is on, it will be much worse for the people in Washington.

"It's time to get out of the parks before more incidents allow the media to create bad press" It is the incidents that create the "bad press", not the media. Occupy Oakland has become the face of this movement and it is ugly.
