Well, actually, that isn't the reason that the government can't do anything constructive. Anytime that you have something that is dominating the news that is as inane as Benghazi then you know that it is actually hiding what is really going on. The more people that buy into it the easier it is for other types of legislation to slide right in the door.

Or crawl up and attach itself to your leg.

So, what is it we are not paying attention to? Banking regulations?

banks, polution, war, taxes, jobs, voting rights
everything the Rs dont want to deal with

Yes "god forbid" anyone would ever hold the government accountable for deliberately causing the deaths of americans. The horror.. it just stands in the way of getting things done like.. trampling over the us constitution a bit more.
