The fact that nations can go bankrupt (yes, even those that print their own money) seems to be lost on the population. We have been living the good life for a long time.
Even during WWII we never had to deal with any bombs here, on the mainland.
Globalism has changed the whole thing, and the current age of fiat money is almost over.
It is not going to be another nation that destroys us, it is going to be the markets.
And the people are going to attack each other instead of banding together to get through it. And how sad it will be.
We are already seeing the beginning of it.
