Forum Post: The Tea Bag Party Fest is Going Down with the NEWT

"Newt Gingrich's fast Florida fade is the latest indication that the Tea Party is losing its grip on the GOP, with the establishment poised to triumph once again."

"An official endorsement Saturday night from last year's Tea Party standout, Herman Cain; an all-but-official backing from longtime Tea Party darling Sarah Palin; and the support of an increasing number of Tea Party officials around the country have not lifted Gingrich back over Mitt Romney in the Florida polls. That weakened clout has been accompanied by the Republican establishment's full-throttle charge at Gingrich's past -- to great effect with the primary here just one day away."

Seems the trolls around here are disillusioned. The Nile is a river in Egypt.

(R)epelican'ts would make funny caricatures, if they weren't running for office.

As it is, it's a scary kind of funny.

[-] 2 points by Puzzlin (2898) 12 years ago

Most of the time they are laughable, extremely so. But, your right, every now and again, their nutty ideas send a fearful chill as we realize how cruel and hateful they can be. That's what makes the fight real.

We need to be relentless because we don't want the world they want for us. No way!!!

Going down?

[-] 1 points by Puzzlin (2898) 12 years ago

"The establishment has done major damage to the current and former Washington lawmakers who hoped to gain Tea Party support. It remains to be seen, though, whether the wind is fully out of the Tea Party’s sails. If Ron Paul were to stage a third-party run, it could be re-energized."

Happy Days are ahead!!!

Why does the GOP even bother to look for a candidate? Is is anything but an expensive circus?

Don't the Republicans already have THEIR MAN OBAMA in the White House?

Well, I guess your right. It's all upside down from here. The clown show is crossing the entire breath of the United States for whimsical amusement since he serve any other useful purpose. Enjoy! I know I will. The self destruction of the republican is nothing less than sheer enjoyment. This is what Jefferson was talking about when he said: Happiness!!!!!!

Come ONE, Come ALL. The clowns are coming to a town near you!!!

We must NEVER let up on the choke hold we have them in. We shall stomp out their misguided money grubbing ways for good. The republican party has never been good for this country. I see them gone along their flawed ideas.

Ideas aligned with the truth will inevitably triumph. Good ideas never die, they keep coming back. They are powerful!!!

Zoe, you have got to start making a public statement denouncing what is happening in Oakland, or the GOP will continue to grow. I'm not sure if you are aware, but the GOP has gained so much ground in the US that red states are gaining electoral votes, as traditionally blue states like New York continue to lose them. You and Justine cannot afford to fuck around any more. You are hurting the left beyond repair.

I have a feeling that you two are anarcho and are against any form or aggression. You have attracted another element of the anarchy movement that believes in violent revolutions. The revolution will never happen this way. But, the movement will die with them if you don't start re-branding and ostracizing.

Let's see what we have at the end of it all.

[-] 3 points by Puzzlin (2898) 12 years ago

From Daily Kos:

"So, all we need to do is link Newt to the Tea Party, he'll embrace it (as he already is) and with our support, they'll make him their candidate (because what other choice do they have), and vote Newt as the "true conservative." This gives Obama more time to focus on the economy as Newt has absolutely no chance of winning nationally; you know it, I know it, the Republican establishment knows it, and the Tea Party knows it - they just don't care, they care about picking anyone but Romney. Let's help them!"

I concur, this is wonderful idea! We can get the Tea PArty out there, front and center, and then demolish the hell out of it. Wow, I would totally enjoy it!

Thanks Girl Friday!!!

This I agree will spell the end of the TP crowd. After 2012 they will be irrelevant. They can't stand Romney yet he's crushing the TPs fully embraced candidate Newt Gingerich. The republican infighting is just so uplifting to me as they each other asunder. Their anger and hate has turned in to themselves. How very very appropriate. If this isn't KARMA then I have no idea what it is!

Peace!

Who is going to support the OWS after 2012, ?? the hundred or less remaining members??

[-] 1 points by ComeTogetherNOW (650) 12 years ago

We need to keep in the streets and push Obama to do the people's agenda. We will continue to exercise our rights and continue to dream. Our dreams are worth fighting for. I see a better World!

Peace!
