I've created a petition to the Obama Administration that directly addresses President Barack Obama that he needs to act on our economic recovery.

Petition Text:

As our beloved Country and its People suffer from political polarization in attention the internal and external conflicts within the Congress of the United States. We, the American People, must have our beloved President to convene to unite the Members of Congress to ultimately act faithfully and properly in regards to our Country's economic turmoil. It'll be best for our beloved President, Barack H. Obama to stand up and offer an unparalleled recommendation to revise the sixteenth amendment to provide fixed income tax rates of the multiples of two, ranging from 2% to 28%, as well as capital gains possibly ranging from 3.55% to 19.55%. With this, there shall be the elimination of tax subsidies and tax cuts of any kind as well as a modest cut of all federal services at 15%. E Pluribus Unum.

A top marginal rate of 70% is what's needed, with capital gains taxed as normal income as well.

It's not your money to take. Why should one person be treated differently than another.

70%? Let's see what happens to France first. I got a feeling it won't be pretty.

Put your partisan differences aside and look how economics work. You cannot just tax your way through this, and expect a large amount of social services entitled to you. This will collapse this country as well as just relying on cuts, alone too.

No, this is not substantable and surely is not going to help our economy as a whole when we have no spending cuts. We must compromise, don't you get it?

In fact it was sustainable from around 1940 to 1980.

I agree on spending cuts. Lets pull out of all of these countries, bring EVERY troop home, and ultimately cut our defense spending by 50%. Food > bombs

the petition suggestions helps the wealthy and hurts the poor/working class. So I hope and believe no one will sign your petition. Support OWS. Vote out anti buffet rule politicians!
