You mean.............can we smell Adam Kokesh?

[-] -1 points by quantumystic (1710) from Memphis, TN 10 years ago

he is an interesting case. i like him but i don't agree with him politically he is an anarcho-capitalist so right off the top there is that problem with his philosophies. i am an anarcho-syndicalist. he has the right idea though time to confront the machine one on one if need be.

He comes across as a wanna be martyr. I don't have the patience for that. Want to like him--can't do it. His call for an armed revolution is ludicrous.

is it really so ludicrous? do you really think they can be voted out by the majority? don't be silly.

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (17435) 10 years ago

Yep, it really is. You see and there is where the tea tolers usually fail because they need me a whole hell of a lot more than I need them. Gotta love the spin for it though.

you know kokesh is not a tea partier right? he is part of the liberty movement not the tea party.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 10 years ago

Ya. It's ok, You do know the Tea Party is also calling for one, right?

Are we talking like a full-blown Marxist Revolution or more like a Scientific Revolution? A second Enlightenment or a second Paris Commune?

Rebelution is a good band, but I dont think they are near.

No I don't "smell it", How did you reach your conclusion?

[-] -1 points by quantumystic (1710) from Memphis, TN 10 years ago

my conclusion is reached by frequenting websites other than this. have you looked at the comment sections?

Even Doris Doubter is swinging towards full insurrection, QM.

If only we could unite all the various factions for a proper call to order in front of every govt building in the country.

[-] 2 points by quantumystic (1710) from Memphis, TN 10 years ago

the people's resistance?

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 10 years ago

For want of a better descriptor, yes.

Yes, there seems to be a very large amount of discontent across the political spectrum. That may be lots of fuel for a Revolution but by its very nature how near a Revolution is is almost impossible to be predicted. I can smell much 'gasoline' but I do not see any 'ignition', do you?

OK, I understand. I don’t surf the Internet a lot. Basically I read the news and visit a couple of forums. But now that you mention it I have noticed a lot of anger and frustration in the comments sections. Maybe we read different news stories, but judging from the comments it’s the right-wing, conservatives who are discussing a revolution. I even say a armed insurrection.

But, no, I haven’t seen anything other than saber rattling and bold talk. It’s easy to do on the internet. I simply don’t see a revolution coming from either the left or right. The truth is the masses aren’t going to throw away their secure lives for someone else’s idea of a revolution. Maybe someday, but not anytime soon.

keep believing it is just the right wing.
