How in the heck they turn the issue of fixing the health care problem in this country into forcing everybody to buy a outrageous corporate-crap that they call health insurance [more like 'killsurance' to me; specially for those that we believe on True Health]!!!
The so call Patient Protection and Affordable [Affordable my ass] Care Act (PPACA) was backed up, of course, by the corporato-Judicional branch (the so call Supreme court; more like the Inquisition court.)
Now if You want to stay away from getting ripped off and/or killed by 'killsurance'; provided of course exclusively by the corporato-health sector, You can not!
If You don't get 'killsurance' the corporatoFederal government will make sure You will get some soon by penalizing You on your taxes!!!!
One way or another they'll get your ass!
Here is on simple terms how it will works:
You got not 'killsurance' and You make more than single-10,000/family-26,000; well get ready to pay 1% of your annual salary as a penalty tax on 4/2015.
By 2016 (4/2017) the penalty will be 2.5% of your annual salary.
You made $50,000 and You refused 'killsurance' - You don't know what You doing; pay a penalty of $500 extra on April of 2015.
2017, You still refuse the brilliancy and marvelous work of the 'killsurance'? You are out of your mind! Pay a penalty of $1,750.
annually $75,000 - 1st penalty $750; 2nd penalty $1,875
annually $100,000 - 1st penalty $1000; 2nd penalty $2,500
I thought that being this a liberal move it will be removed by the next corporato-conservative-congressman that gets 'placed' on the thrown of the corporato-Executive branch; but forget it! This is a corporate mandate. It is 'brilliantly' design to F U K K the 99% no matter what your preferences are; like sick-care, or hate-sick-care.

In answer to your question (or declaration) in the original post, if you watch this video from beginning to end you will know why Big Business Healthcare did what they did to "basterdize" the original proposal presented by Obama. After they were done with it, it came out as mandatory purchase of private healthcare, rather than socialized medicine like Canada, England, France, etc.

Food industry and pharmaceutical giants put tons of toxins on your body, and the sick-care programs 'help' you to cope with the symptomatology ONLY!! There is not money on true Health!!! There is not money on true cures!!! That's why the true cures, the true health are all classified under 'alternative' medicine; when they should be called true medicine. How can a corporate-sick-care system stay alive if they loose all their 'customers' [patients] to true cures!!?? Heck yeah EagleEye. And why would anybody spend money on a ripoff!!?? And pay a penalty because I don't want to purchase a ripoff!!! Unfuckingbeliable!!! We all know it, our grandmas and grandpas knew it, true health is not in the hand of the docs, it is in nourishment and cleansing! But they cannot patent (food) as medicine and add a 10000 markup to it to make the outrageous profits that they make with pills! That is why true health care is not up for discussion when talking about true health care reform!
It's nice to find someone who understands. I was diagnosed with cancer & the surgeon was about to scheduled the removal of a node, when they suddenly discovered it was cat scratch disease. I literally saw his face drop in disappointment that he was not going to be able to cut the node out which had already been biopsied. They never gave me a clear explanation as to wht there was so much confusion with my case. I have little trust for most doctors & their tunnel vision. I agree, it is all about food being your medicine & exercise. Since that experience I've changed my life completely. I haven't had a cold in over two years, when I used to get them twice a year. I am so strong I am like a bull with wings & will not be pushed around by this corruption.

You don't have to buy health insurance. You can instead choose to pay a tax, to help pay for the government health care costs incurred by people who don't have health insurance. Or you can just buy health insurance and then you don't have to pay the tax.

Why would I buy something that does not work??? Seriously, I have been researching on health for over 20 years. I am currently practicing on myself an 'alternative' therapy for cancer (gerson.org) just to see the effect on my body. No, I don't know if I have cancer, and I don't give a shit...seriously. I have researched cancer long enough to understand what it is and how to stay away from it as much as possible. And buying corporate-sick-care is far from any solution to not just cancer but all other degenerative diseases... So again, why would I waste my money on the opposite of what I am looking for? That is just like being thirsty and buy a glass of sand...!!!
