Let’s focus on the most critical grievance. The people have lost hold of the reins of democracy. Without our ability to steer the political process, all other attempts at righting serious wrongs, and they are many, will result in minimal success. If there is a fire of injustice raging on one side of the road, and we are unable to turn towards it, all of our enormous abilities to extinguish that fire will be useless.

We must first have an equal say in government. Living breathing persons only deserving an equal vote, and representatives that are accountable to the people and no others.

If we get caught up in dozens of grievances, we lose our strength. It just takes one or two that some people will not support, and one by one we lose large numbers of supporters. Numbers are our great strength as long as we are united behind a small and focused set of grievances. We must have the support of the majority of the people, not just a small group of protesters with widely varying points of view. When Democracy is restored to the people, then we will be able to put out the other fires as well.
