Republicans recently introduced a bill trying to eliminate the law requiring a company to give lunch breaks to employees.

“This is an unneeded law,” [Republican state Representative Kyle Jones] said. “If I was to deny one of my employees a break, I would be in a very bad position with the company’s human resources representative. If you consider that this is a very easy law to follow in that everyone already does it, then why do we need it? Our constituents have already proven that they have enough common sense to do this on their own.”

Kind of like how repealing regulations worked out. They were moral enough to not commit fraud. ...wait...

Why do people vote for these frauds?

"If you consider that this is a very easy law to follow in that everyone already does it, then why do we need it?"

Because there probably ARE people who would JUMP at the opportunity to not have to follow it...

And... since its already being followed... why bother to get rid of it? Is it hurting anyone? Does it cost money to enforce? FUCK NO.

I don't mind not getting paid for a lunch hour... but I would want the damned hour... especially if I was working in a more physically demanding job...

Next thing you know they will talk about repealing workplace safety laws... I mean... isn't it so easy? Doesn't everyone do it already?

Fuck you very much GOP

They're trying to build a sweat shop for the new caste system they're creating. Hence this epic attack on Unions and Labor Laws.

What's cheaper than manufacturing your goods overseas with cheap labor? Having cheap labor without basic labor laws here in the USA and not having to pay large shipping costs. They want a Foxconn in America.

Most companies just have to pay a fine if they violate a labor law. And the fine is cheaper than following the law. The law should be the authority who authorizes the violation is fired for their choice to violate the law. Easiest way to prevent it from happening.

Workers' rights have been on the decline for the past 30 years. The capitalists who want to deregulate want to throw us back to the Dickensian times of the Industrial Revolution. Wouldn't matter to them, they're all set and deregulation would help them get even richer. Sickening. We're dealing with real psychopaths here.

The American worker, the middle class is the target. The 1%ers/the NWOers/the globalists/the RATpublicans/the DemoCRAPlicans (the last two are simply the cabana boy/girl servants of the filthy rich) all want the same thing: TO REDUCE AMERICA TO A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY.

The only forces capable of standing up to the NWO are the middle classes of the 1st world. In Europe they are being decimated by austerity (in Greece, suicides and child desertion are even up). They aim to do the same here.

Hey Trevor, can you link us up to any information regarding that bill? I sure would like to follow that. Maybe we can make this thread the be all and say all on that little bill.
