If so many people can afford $250 Nike shoes, the economy must be doing better, right?
I think it has more too do with appearing to be rich, than actually being rich. I spent that much on Silver the other day, actually.
My silver is still worth $260 (more now that the price went up) Those shoes, once worn, are worthless.
good point. it reminds me of the 1000 dollar apple iphone that is still selling at record highs.
