There's nothing really interesting about that. It's simply religious thinking instead of logic. The people around the Bible Belt are religious, hence they do not use logic. They use a different "epistemology" to find their "truth". Unfortunately, there is only one true epistemology, and that is science.

I read the article, I know what it's about. The thing is, you don't even need a scientific theory to explain why religious people don't use logic. It's simply because they use a false epistemology. They grow up learning to believe without seeing, instead of learning to use logic and science. I guess it can be cool to create a scientific theory to explain this, but it's really not necessary.

I did read the article. It talks about conservatives, people who are usually religious. The biggest percentage of conservatives in US is in the Bible Belt.

I never tried to determine what is posted. That's the job of moderators. They did make rules, but they are not enforcing them. It's a shame really.
In any case, I never said this particular posting should not be here. I simply remarked that it's obvious why conservatives are illogical, i.e. there's no need to look at science to understand why. They are raised on religion which is itself illogical. They learn to think illogically from childhood.

Why should I pay any attention to the republican shills on this forum? If we are here, it's because we believe OWS issues, the republicans won't convince anyone here to vote for them.
