Forum Post: The Bank Bubble Is About To Burst!

The dot com bubble and the housing bubble will look like toy water guns when compared to the banking bubble when it pops. Political argument is no substitute for education, hard data and facts. From the Tea Party on the right to OWS on the left everyone will shut their mouth and listen when the banks go pop! Help me educate people because only after education and understanding will people ever act together rather than pulling apart.

I agree. Buy guns, lots of ammo and learn to live off the grid. Doom is upon us.

Can't buy a decent air rifle here without good reason.

I'm off the grid, and doing my damnedest to eat what I can grow or catch. Still motoring around, though I'm using biodiesel when I can get it.

Good for you. My post was intended to be a little light hearted, with a bit of seriousness. I assume you’re not in the States since guns are so hard to get. Seems odd that you couldn’t get a small .22LR varmint rifle or a 410 shotgun for bird hunting.

I do believe SHTF will occur sometime in the next few years, probably before 2025. I’m not a serious survivalist preper. I’m a retired farmer, now living in town to be near the kids and grandkids. I still own the farm, but have it leased out. I’m a Texas farm boy, know how to fish, hunt, raise a garden, field dress a deer and so on. So If it gets bad enough I have a place to take my family and the skills to survive.

I’m also a gun enthusiast, most older collectable revolvers. But a few modern weapons, so I like to feel we can defend ourselves if needed. Cold, scared, hungry people are dangerous. If SHTF really happens those without guns, and the ability to use them, will be at risk.

Actually, I'd say your prediction is quite on track with mine, I believe very serious troubles will start in somewhat 10 years, I deducted that 10 years ago and it contributed to decide me to write the arguments and plans for a new reality, then I went to all kind of places, including here, to get people interested in my work while pushing that work must start within the next 10 years, but I haven't got many people interested to say the very least.

I'm living in Quebec, the French place in Canada, and I've been lucky enough to be grown near thick savage forest, I'm good at hunting, trapping, I can raise farm animals easily, make a garden, but I can't have your luck with military weapons, even though I've been in the army, those things are very difficult to get here for someone like me, at least I can run all the way up to the north pole that will be melted when I get there...
