If anyone does not understand that this is a world-wide revolution against greed and corruption, their eyes are not open.

Good post.

And today I see a headline, "Europe not stepping back from austerity", so we ARE in a worldwide revolution/battle but the wealthiest are still a potent force against the 99%.

If money is power....and it is...we do indeed have an extremely formidable opponent.

However if there is power in UNITY and in vast numbers....and there is.... they too will have a extremely powerful opponent.

It comes down to who has the will, and PERSEVERANCE.

Exactly. Our numbers are greater than theirs. The power of the people is greater than any people in power.

Agreed.

ONLY if we vote for pro-99% candidates

[-] 4 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

We definitely must fight for change in the voting booth as well. Occupy has committed themselves to agitation for change outside the political system. but most people I see at mass rallies are progressive leaning voters. It may be difficult to get the change we need through the ballot because of money in politics but we will also fight forthat change as well. Through your corporationsarenotpeople.webuda.com & move movetoamend.org.

The system wont allow more than about 5% of those in there at a time.

God is all powerful! Freedom need no defense with free will and perspective WE shall be victorious, that is all there is.

[-] 1 points by frovikleka (2563) from Island Heights, NJ 11 years ago

The wacked out religious right also see God as being on their side. I hope you're right.

I mention no sides for I believe ALL ONE God is all powerful and no side can prove otherwise for it is so and We are very small in the big picture. We shall soon see just how real the truth is. Beyond mainstream anything we travel ever forward and now with progressive movement Equality,Justice and Liberty shall forever remain.

BTW where is the church/religion in time of great moral crisis? Just wondering. Perhaps most churches not taking a side for peace and justice, and in fact ignoring it is the problem.

They are busy with their eating flesh and listening to doom day war making preachers and all they want is their Lord they are in trap. I heard of going to Church and praying for them be released with results that are the entire congregation just like(snap finger) FREE... I would pray them gag on death if it maketh past em lips so not yet have I gone there it seems so harsh I ask are these times desperate as that for I need some feedback to deal with eating flesh YIKES though under this subject on further note; this act is responsible for our health care situation or lack there of. Not eating death equals life and all the money in the world can not make well a person choosing to eat death. To live just stop for it continues with the help of all Dr.'s in the name of what?

Can anyone publish a legitimate address here, where contributions can be sent to the Spanish movement with confirmation they are getting into the right hands?

Why is Spain in such dire straights?

[-] 5 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

Because of ignorant gov austerity measures that seeks to balance the budget on the backs of the poor, sick, & old. instead of asking the wealthiest 1% who have hoarded the countries wealth to pay their fair share?

[-] -2 points by DeathsHead1 (-111) 11 years ago

So if the 1% pays "their fair share" ( whatever that means) then Spain would be okay?

[-] 4 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

If Spain used that revenue to increase employment & create economic growth, yeah Spain would be on the road to recovery.

[-] -3 points by DeathsHead1 (-111) 11 years ago

I read that one of the main reasons they are hurting is because they doubled down on so called green energy.

[-] 4 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

not likely. More likely they cut pgms that help the poor and support job creation, rather than raise revenue from the greedy, selfish wealthy who have hoarded massive wealth.

[-] 0 points by DeathsHead1 (-111) 11 years ago

"Not likely?" So you don't really know.....

[-] 4 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

I know what I believe and I know the facts. I believe it is immoral and unethical to balance budgets (busted by cutting taxes for wealthy) on the backs sick, old, & poor. I know revenue is at it's lowest point in 50 years. correct the revenue shortfall by raising taxes on those who have hoarded our wealth. The 1% are sitting on more than a trillion dollars. Our defense budget has almost tripled, time to cut it in half. Eliminate loopholes and tax shelters for corporations. What do you suggest?

Good Dicussion for all sides of the discussion:

1) Spain does not have it's own currency. Therefore it can not implement effective fiscal or monetary policies.
2) Spain probably doesn't have social safety nets like the USA for a) unemployment insurance b) Social Security or public retirement programs as a fail safe.
3) Control over the debts of the banks and government ... and the wisedome to decide where the debts should go, should get terminated, should stay, should put pressure on the forces that create debt within a country.
4) The forces in #3 above that create debt are banks, and they should be carrrying the pressure of the debt and the hangover.

No Court in the world would suport payment to a corporation executive as a bonus in a year of government bailout. We call that a bankruptcy. It is illegal to pay an executive a bonus as you are going bankrupt.

The reason you can't pay an executive a bonus during a bankrupcy is that it tends to stiffle testimoney. How can you get testimony? This is a RICO Violation. You can't coverup crime without being prosceuted. This is like high school kids asking if they will get in trouble for lifting the money box from the cafetaeria.

The Executive office of the United States is headed by the President. He is respnsible for seeing that ethics are upheld in the USA. He is the Chief Ethics Officers in the USA.

There is no ethics that says waive prosecution.
