They have been in the system for 2 years... what exactly have they accomplished?
They accomplished getting the U.S. credit rating downgraded by S&P for the first time, hence causing the U.S. to have to pay higher interest payments on it's debts. In other words, they've accomplished costing us all a ton of money.
I don't think that the rise in the interest rates actually happened. The S&P was charged with having a $2 Trillion dollar error in their calculations. After the downgrading, interest rates actually lowered a bit. Regardless...
I know that the TP has gridlocked Congress over the deficit... which still costs us a ton of money. Paying those asshats that represent us to not pass legislation is a waste. I don't think that they achieved anything regarding taxes either which was a huge plank in their platform.

I agree 100%. While I’m not a strong OWS supporter. I at least agree with a lot of their ideals. But the Tea Party is dangerous. They will bring the US to its knees.
The good news is the Tea Party members of the House just about killed public support over the budget issue last Christmas. I think they’re about finished.
